South Farm - Distinctly different

Gardens

Gardens

South Farm's enchanting gardens are listed in The Good Garden Guide and have been frequently featured in the media. The gardens are a quiet, secluded oasis offering dappled shade and natural shelter for corporate guests.

Over 35 years, Philip has devotedly built the gardens up to blossom and bloom with a myriad of wonderfully fragrant flora. As the trees and gardens have matured the grounds have become a rich haven for wildlife and birds.

Delegates who roam our gardens are sure to meet some of South Farm's menagerie of rare breed animals: Peacocks, Kune Kune pigs, Black Indian Runner ducks to name a few.

We also have a small, tranquil, private Nature Reserve which includes a three-acre lake of crystal clear water; home to organic trout, Native Crayfish, otters and many species of dragonfly. Fishing days can be arranged for guests.

South Farm opens for charity under the National Gardens Scheme and for the Cambridgeshire Red Cross and welcomes private Garden Club visits each year.

Power for microphones and music is available in the gardens.

See our eco friendly section for further information on the abundant vegetable garden and private Nature Reserve.
