Eastgate Farm Camping

Surrounded by our sheep and pigs we believe our site is a wonderful escape on the Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border

The perfect stop off for a night or two as you travel from north to south and back, or a great base for a week of exploring, with lots of nearby fun for all ages. With nature and a working farm all around, escape the crowds with us.

Suitable for caravans, motorhomes, tents and trailer tents, our facilities include:

Flushing toilet

Shower cubicle

Wash basin

Pets welcome – please bear in mind that we are a working farm so please do

keep your furry friends on leads

Grass-only pitches

Please bear in mind the sights, sounds and smells of a working farm

Our nearest village is Shingay cum Wendy – a quiet village in South Cambridgeshire, whilst the nearest large village is Bassingbourn, where you can find a range of amenities.

To eat, you could try The Belle or The Hoops, both of which have great restaurants and serve good beer too. Our nearest pub is The Pig and Abbot in Abingdon Piggotts, serving plentiful, great pub grub alongside a fine pint.

There is a range of shops in Bassingbourn village, including a Londis, Post Office, chemist and a great little café with fresh pastries, perfect to take back to the campsite for breakfast!

We are also located less than a mile from South Farm wedding venue, www.south-

farm.co.uk, so we are a great location to pitch up if you are attending an event there.
