My floristry is rooted in a season-led approach that works in rhythm with the natural landscape. I design exclusively with locally grown flowers and foliage, sourced from local flower farmers (or grown myself) using organic and regenerative practices. This ensures my work contains no harmful chemicals, actively supports biodiversity and soil health, and has a carbon footprint that is as low as it is practicably possible to achieve.

All of my weddings are zero-waste. I do not use floral foam or single-use plastics, instead working with reusable, water-based mechanics that support both plant health and longevity. Every material is either reused or responsibly recycled, and once a wedding has finished, all flowers are composted and returned to the soil, becoming part of the next growing cycle.

My commitment to sustainability is also informed by teaching, research and advocacy. I founded the School of Sustainable Floristry and co-authored Buying Better: Building Trust and Transparency in the Cut Flower Supply Chain, a report exploring the environmental and ethical realities of the global flower industry and the importance of traceable, responsible sourcing.

For me, sustainability is not an add-on or an aesthetic. It is integral to good floral design. Working seasonally in this way pushes my creative boundaries in a way that allows me to offer my clients truly unique designs that are intentional, distinctive and deeply connected to a time and a place.
