I am a Hair and Makeup artist specialising in cruelty-free and vegan products.  My style is all about enhancing natural beauty with a focus on subtle elegance. My approach ensures that my brides and clients feel like the best version of themselves on their wedding day, with a soft, glowing, and timeless finish, that highlights their features without overwhelming them. I am not just your hair and makeup artist; I am your extra pair of hands throughout the whole morning!

Laura – Married at South Farm

When looking for a HMUA for my wedding, it was really important to me that they used cruelty free cosmetics, which is how I ended up discovering Laura. From the moment we met at the hair and make-up trial, I knew I had made the right choice. I had never had my hair or make-up done professionally before, and was worried that I’d feel a little self-conscious, but all that melted away once we started chatting. She was so friendly and kind, and I instantly felt comfortable. I think looking for someone with similar values to mine meant we had more in common so it felt like hanging out with a friend! On my wedding day, she helped to calm my nerves and did such a fantastic job – my hair was exactly what I had asked for, and the make-up lasted all day, even when I was dancing the night away (and despite lots of tears!)
I also have to say, that as someone who does not wear a lot of make-up normally, I was worried about getting my make-up done and it not looking like “me”. However, Laura is like a magician and manages to apply it in a way that still looks natural – I still looked like me, but just a better version 🙂
A year after I got married, Laura then did my make-up for my brother’s wedding! Again, I enjoyed chatting away with her while she did her thing, and yet again, she managed to give me a flawless, yet natural look that made me feel like a million dollars. I can’t recommend Laura enough – if you are looking for a HMUA, look no further! I’m just hoping for another occasion/excuse to have my hair and make-up done again!

I selected Laura because of her messaging around cruelty free and vegan makeup as well as the fact that she could do both hair and makeup. We had such a fun time at our trial, which was held at Laura’s house, this really made the experience feel intimate and personal. On the day Laura and her colleague Jemma arrived at the venue early and were all set up and ready for our arrival, her timekeeping was amazing. Laura felt like part of the bridal party on the day, it was a joy to have her with us.
