We are fortunate to be the most local photography and film teams to South Farm, at only 1.6 miles away. This keeps travel emissions minimal and makes us a naturally low-impact choice for the venue. Being so close also means we can work flexibly and seasonally. If snow arrives, we can even walk to work!
At home we use 100 percent renewable electricity and make conscious choices around waste by reusing packaging wherever possible and avoiding unnecessary materials. We keep our equipment’s lifecycle long; we take good care of it, repair where we can, and we replace it thoughtfully to avoid unnecessary purchases. Your package will start off digital and if we provide tangible additions, our print and album suppliers are UK based.
Social sustainability matters to us too. We are ambassadors for the charity Vow for Girls and donate for every wedding booking we receive, supporting them to end child marriage across the globe. Vow for Girls funds community-based solutions that support girls with education, job training and life skills that create long-term change. For us, sustainability is about positive impact and the wellbeing of future generations, not only environmental practices.
Sustainability is personal and philosophical as well as practical. Lina is a shamanic practitioner and so our connection to nature and the land is part of daily life rather than a marketing tick box. We notice the seasons and the small details, and we bring that mindfulness with us when we work. At South Farm this ethos feels at home among the gardens, the animals and the changing landscape.
