That was just the BEST day!! Thank you to all of your team – cleaners, caterers, wedding managers, admin team and especially Nikki who was just completely fabulous on Monday. We could not have had a better time – it was so full of love and joy and fun.

And thanks to Claire who really looked after us on Tuesday morning and sent us off with a lovely breakfast.

From the very start of this process with you, from our initial meeting in February last year to the packing up to go home yesterday morning, it has been an absolute pleasure to work with you. You have all been so professional, responsive, friendly, helpful and supportive which culminated in a magical day on Monday. Nikki was so wonderful from start to finish on the day and really made us feel like our wedding and happiness was the single most important thing to her!

Perfect venue, amazing staff!
We truly couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful day, and the team at South Farm helped make that happen. We fell in love with the venue from the moment we visited, and the team immediately helped us to envision our perfect day. All throughout, we really felt like the team were making sure we had the day that we wanted, and thought about every detail – including ones we hadn’t even considered. All the staff at South Farm are incredibly friendly and truly took our thoughts, preferences and desires into consideration to help put together a day that was truly special and perfect. Our guests are still raving about how lovely the venue was and how delicious the food was. If we could have our wedding day all over again, we would pick South Farm in a heartbeat!

We honestly don’t know where to begin in thanking you for the most incredible day. From the moment we arrived, everything felt so special. The venue looked breathtakingly beautiful, so many of our guests told us it was the most stunning setting, and the food was praised constantly throughout the day. We’re still receiving messages about how amazing everything tasted!

What really touched us were all the little details happening quietly behind the scenes. So much care, thought and hard work clearly goes into what you do, and it made such a difference to how the whole day felt. Everything ran so smoothly, and we were able to relax and just be fully present with our family and friends.

Bringing the donkeys out was such a magical touch — the children absolutely adored it (and if we’re honest, so did we!). It created such a joyful, unforgettable moment.

A heartfelt thank you to Evie and Emily for all your kindness and support in the lead-up to the wedding, to Deborah for everything you do behind the scenes and for welcoming us so warmly when we first visited, and to Nikki on the day for looking after us with such genuine care — constantly checking in and making sure we were okay. We felt so completely supported. And for keeping things going so smoothly! I think I may have looked like a startled chicken for the first part of the day but slowly the nerves started to go, and all thanks to how well it was going!

We’d also like to thank all of the staff — every single person we encountered was so friendly, warm and professional. Our guests commented on how lovely everyone was, and that atmosphere made such a difference to the whole experience.

As a couple, we felt so calm, cared for and truly celebrated. You created a day that felt joyful, effortless and completely magical — one we will treasure for the rest of our lives. We feel incredibly lucky to have celebrated at South Farm.

Perfect wedding day
My husband and I recently got married at South Farm and we had the most amazing experience. The venue is gorgeous and even on a drizzly day in January it looked stunning. Prior to choosing South Farm we had looked at quite a few other venues but we just didn’t feel that instant connection – South Farm was different and as soon as we’d viewed it we knew it was the one! Nikki, our event manager, was amazing on the lead up to the wedding and on the day and nothing felt rushed. Any questions we had were answered straight away, she was always there when we needed her and she made us feel at ease. The food was incredible and all our of guests complimented it (we had the hot buffet). We bought a lot of our own decor but the venue comes with lots of lovely plants, fairy lights and little touches which mean you don’t have to worry about getting a huge amount of decor. Accommodation was great, very clean and comfy and the campers / wagon bathrooms were the best we had seen for campers!! DJ Gary bought so much energy to the dance floor and played banger after banger. We had a tasty full English the day after the wedding as well. It was my mums birthday and without us asking, they bought out a little brownie with a candle in which was lovely and shows how much thought goes into any decision. We would highly recommend South Farm and we really hope we can return as wedding guests in the future!

It was a pleasure working with a venue who keeps everything so organised and transparent, planning our wedding here really couldn’t have been any smoother. All of the office team were happy to help on any enquiries throughout the process. Shout out to Emily and Nikki for helping tie everything together in the final weeks.

Hayley was our coordinator on the day and she was an incredible presence. Her kindness, excitement and professionalism were just some of her qualities which shone throughout. She kept the day running smoothly and efficiently. Thank you, Hayley!

We knew South farm was fantastic but it’s also been a pleasure to hear excellent feedback from our guests. The food and dinner service was brilliant with everyone enjoying their meals, South Farm also made exceptional efforts to accommodate guests with food allergies which was a lovely touch.

Stunning venue – thank you to an amazing team

South Farm gave us everything we could have wanted for our wedding day. We had shopped around to try and make the day of our dreams happen but were immediately impressed by South Farm’s extremely transparent prices and packages. We went for a package that suited us and were amazed. The team are super communicative, always happy to help and answer questions and were really flexible, allowing us to DIY a lot of our wedding. Shame you only get to do it once, we would want another day at South Farm again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic wedding venue, cannot recommend enough.South Farm were very professional, friendly and welcoming with us from the get go. We were treated warmly by the staff at all times, and they all knew what they were doing. We appreciated they always had good advice for us when planning the wedding, but never forced us to do things a certain way. They were very flexible when we talked about what we wanted for the wedding, and suggested what rooms we could use, and what could be done in between to make sure everything worked out well timing wise.

A special shout out goes to their kitchen staff who make some of the best food we have ever eaten. The hog roast buffet was incredible and there was lots of choice in what food we could have served. Every member of staff was very polite and went out of their way to make our lives easier, especially our event manager for the day, Evie, who was delightful to work with.

Only one thing to note when planning, they are not able to set up any decorations on the morning before our church service so we did have to find some friends to do it at short notice.

While planning with them, replies to emails always came fast, we never felt like we had to chase about anything. The accommodation was very nice and clean, and felt reasonably priced. In addition the clearing down was taken care of by night staff so we didn’t have to do any of it. Everything was arranged out for us in the morning with flowers still on tables for breakfast! It was something very special.

South Farm made our day incredible

We got married at South Farm on the 14th of November 2025 and had the most perfect day.

I saw South Farm online in 2024 but we did not get a chance to visit until the beginning of April this year. From the moment my husband and I looked around, we fell in love and snapped up a date that same weekend.
The team at South Farm have been incredible throughout our journey. Evie showed us around and helped us plan our day. Emily kept in contact over email and made sure everything was on track and Helen was our on the day event manager. The entire team was super helpful in ensuring we had the perfect wedding day.
Our wedding day ended up having the worst weather and we needed to make lots of last moment changes as a result. South Farm had already written a wet-weather alternative, but I think the sheer amount of rain was a shock to everyone. Helen worked with me to make sure we could still do everything which was important to me, such as our confetti toss. The staff also made sure I was completely covered by umbrellas when moving from the coach house suite to the Tudor barn for our ceremony.

Our day turned out perfect and we were completely accommodated for. I have mobility issues and the staff made sure I was able to get everything I needed and they worked with the registrars to ensure we could sit in the ceremony if I needed to. Additionally, Helen made sure to check in with us periodically to make sure we were happy and she was able to get us anything we needed or wanted.

The food for both the wedding breakfast and the evening reception was heavenly. We opted for a 2 course hot buffet and there was more than enough food for everyone. Many of our guests went up for seconds and we received many compliments on the food. I was desperate to have beef for one of our main options, which was not on the hot buffet menu, but the team sorted this for us for a small surcharge. I am so glad this was able to happen.

Finally, we had a large Connie and Colin the Caterpillar cake. I had made a veil and top hat for them but during transport from our house to the venue, they were misplaced. I was willing to go without them, but Helen, not wanting to disappoint, made sure we had a veil and top hat for our cakes. The staff sewed a napkin using chicken wire and they printed a top hat and added them to the cakes. They checked we were happy before we showed our guests and I honestly think they turned out better than my own. Helen and the staff went so above and beyond.

We are so happy with how our day turned out and are so glad we picked South Farm. Our family and friends adored it and all of our guests who stayed in accommodation loved their rooms. The full English (served by Claire) was just what everyone wanted in the morning. The staff also cleared up our decorations overnight, making packing in the morning super smooth!

Amazing Wedding at South Farm
We had our wedding at South Farm on the 8th November this year, and from start to finish the team there were absolutely amazing to work with. From the first show round South Farm stood out, not only because of the stunning venue itself, but also because of the care and attention to detail that all of the team showed. It made us feel like we were in safe hands, and that feeling continued throughout all of the planning with our detailed planning meeting, menu tastings and constant comms throughout. The day itself couldn’t have gone any better, and the team were great at adapting to some last minute changes. All of our guests commented on how delicious the food was, and Nikki, our on the day event coordinator was absolutely amazing. Couldn’t speak higher of the venue or the team.

The BEST venue!!!
We don’t have words to express how perfect this venue and all of the staff working there are! It’s a stunning venue with stunning grounds and incredible food! We got married here on Monday and our day was far better than I ever imagined it would be, they really do go above and beyond! All of the stress was taken out of planning the day, with a special mention to both Nikki and Evie, all requests and questions are answered promptly, with a few suggestions to enhance our ideas too. And then on the day, we had Helen as our event manager and she was absolutely fantastic! Honestly made our day so special!! If you’re considering this venue, go for it, you won’t find better!

Hi to everyone at South Farm,

Joe and I wanted to send a massive thank you for making our wedding day the day of our dreams! Everything was absolutely perfect – from the staff (including our wonderful event manager Hayley who went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic day) to the food to the impeccable organisation and special touches throughout the day.

So many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and South Farm played such a massive part in this. The food received so many complements – the steak in particular was a big favourite when we spoke to all our guests. We loved the little touches that the staff put on throughout the day, including coming back to a lovely card and bottle of bubbly in our room 🥂

To top of our magical day, the south farm fairies set up a beautiful setting for our breakfast helping us to relive our wedding day. It was so wonderful seeing the tables set up, and even our memory ladder with photos of lost ones displayed. It truly meant so much to us ❤️

Fantastic wedding venue
We had the best day ever at our wedding at South Farm in October 2025. South Farm was the only venue we visited and we instantly fell in love at our show round. The venue is stunning and so well kept from the bedrooms and the indoor spaces to the beautiful grounds, and offered everything we wanted for our big day. The food was amazing at the menu tasting and on the day itself! South Farm is a well oiled machine and everything leading up to and on the day ran so smoothly from the room turnovers to meal service. Everyone was always so friendly, helpful and responsive to any questions we had, and seemed to genuinely care that we had the best wedding possible. We had so many compliments on how fantastic South Farm was as a venue and honestly we wouldn’t have changed a thing about the day! You will not regret booking South Farm!

I wanted to share with you what a wonderful day we had at my son’s and daughter in laws wedding. It was amazing. Staff could not have been more welcoming and guided us to what to put where. Evie went above and beyond expectations working a long day to support us. Nothing was too much trouble for her and on the couple of slight problems we had she immediately came up with a solution. We cannot thank her enough and please tell her how much we appreciated her. She had so many skills and experience in wedding planning.

Perfect venue

We had the most incredible day, and received so many compliments on the venue, the food, the staff.. it was honestly the most perfect and magical day! The photos in the grounds look beautiful, the food and service was impeccable and the dance floor/evening was incredible. The staff are so helpful in planning and on the day (shout out to Evie for being amazing for our day!) – the tasting evening is also the best meal I’ve ever had! Would absolutely recommend South Farm and wish we could do it all over again!

The best day – would not change a single thing
South farm are an incredible venue – would really recommend them. They made the planning really easy and stress free and were just perfect on the day. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. We particularly loved the vibe of the venue – as the Danes would say, it was very Hygge.

Myself and my partner got married here at the start of the month, when we first came to the venue we knew straight away that it was the venue we would want to get married in. It is beautiful with amazing gardens which are colourful, beautiful and immaculate.

The wedding planning was made alot more easier with all the help and links supplied by South Farm the support from the team was amazing and would always be very helpful.

The day itsself was the most perfect, day that anyone could ask for the staff were lovely and all the guests had nothing but good remarks and words to say about how amazing the staff were. The food was to die for, it was by the far the best food I have ever had at a wedding and I am glad it was my own. Everyone also complemented the food all day, including the evening buffet. The staff really look after you as a couple throughout the whole process of the wedding and make sure you have the most beautiful and amazing day ever.

Our guests had the most incredible day and they could not fault South farm whatsoever. Myself and my partner could not recommend enough South Farm, if you want the perfect wedding then I strongly recommend here.

Natalie and I can’t describe how much we enjoyed Sunday, and how perfect it was. A massive big thankyou to the team for your excellent help in the run up to and on the big day. The venue was amazing, and we are so grateful to the weather allowing us to be outdoors. We had so many people comment on the venue, saying how beautiful it was and how it fit us a couple so well. The South Farm team are so nice and welcoming. Rabbi Yael was obsessed with the venue and really enjoyed it (including the box of veg that was given to her!). They also loved the ducks that walked down the aisle of course.

We have had so many people say it was so well planned and that this was a truly special jewish wedding. Not many people have experienced a Tisch like that, and the old dairy was perfect setting for it. The Chuppah was beautiful.

Guests also loved the food! We had a lot of meat eaters at the wedding, and typically kosher vegan food at a wedding is quite poor. Guests seemed to love every course (there were lots of empty plates). Food portions and quality were great. Also, a big thankyou for taking dietary requirements so seriously, we had guests mention that to us.

A huge thankyou to Becky and Evie for on the day – could not have been more perfect. They were both one step of us and kept everything running smoothly – and even came to Natalie’s rescue when she got stung by a wasp!

The breakfast the following morning was great. The horse barn was decorated so nicely and the food was exactly what we needed.

We could keep going through the day and thankyou for making it perfect, but we should go and enjoy our honeymoon. Thankyou!

I cannot believe it’s nearly a year since me and Ed had the most amazing wedding day at South Farm. By far, the best day of our lives! The venue, the organisation, the food, and most importantly the vibe really encompassed the love we wanted to share. We cannot thank you enough. Our guests say, it was the best wedding they’ve been to! No exaggeration!! 

South Farm is more than just a wedding venue; it is an experience. From the first visit to the very end of the day, the team’s professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made our wedding unforgettable. The food at South Farm is absolutely incredible. The tasting session was so much fun, and every dish we tried was delicious. The staff were warm, friendly, and positive throughout. On the day, we went for the BBQ buffet, and it exceeded all expectations. Guests are still talking about how tasty it was.

On the Day Experience:
Our wedding day ran perfectly thanks to the amazing team. Evie, our coordinator, was exceptional. She was professional, organised, and friendly, and so many guests commented on how fantastic she was. Every detail was handled seamlessly, which meant we could truly enjoy the day.

After scouting different venues, we couldn’t be happier with choosing South Farm for our special day. It ticked all our boxes — surrounded by nature, serene, classy, and spotless. The whole place just had this calm, elegant vibe that made the day feel extra special for everyone.

On top of that, the organization and communication were absolutely top-notch. Everything ran smoothly, and we felt completely taken care of from start to finish.

And finally…the food… . Truly to die for! I keep wishing I could go back in time just to eat more.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you for hosting our wedding last Friday. The day was absolutely perfect and we couldn’t fault a single thing!

The food was amazing and so many of our guests commented on how delicious everything was. A special shout-out to Becky, who was incredibly organised and calm; we felt completely taken care of from start to finish.

From the moment we walked through South Farm’s doors on our first tour, to planning, to our special day itself, we were made to feel like we were the only couple getting married. The attention and care we were shown from the very outset was second to none.

Our wedding was a little different to the usual, and South Farm lived up to their motto – distinctly different. South Farm went above and beyond to help our vision come to life and it was more than we could ever have dreamed of.

We cannot thank everyone at South Farm enough, particularly our event manager Nikki Fox who literally felt like part of our family celebrating with us on the day. We were so looked after.

Everyone was so complimentary of the venue, its charm and beauty – exactly what we had fallen in love with – as well as the atmosphere and how relaxed the day was, which was exactly what we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble.

South Farm is not just a wedding venue, it’s an experience. One we will cherish for the rest of our lives and we cannot be more thankful to everyone at South Farm.

Wow wow wow, we had our wedding I July this year and it was the most amazing day ever. The staff at South Farm were amazing and so helpful from start to finish. The ‘night fairies’ were just incredible ensuring everything was placed into categories making it so much easier to tidy in the morning. The food was insane, we did not have one moan from our guests – they all enjoyed it so much, they were also impressed at how sustainable the venue is. We fell in love with the venue 3 years ago when we first looked around and it was everything we thought it was going to be and more. Thank you so much!

We got married in July 2025 and honestly couldn’t imagine a better venue than South Farm. All of the staff at every point made it clear in their actions and words that their main priority was to make sure the day was as special as it should be for us, and they delivered time and time again. Special thanks to Evie for helping it all run exactly as we dreamed of!

Our initial viewing was really helpful with the sort of options that we could have, and there seemed like a wide range of choices to make the day exactly what we wanted. We had a really useful planning document/spreadsheet shared with us that showed just how much everything was so we could keep track of the spending against out expectations, and any questions we had were answered promptly by the team. We decided to go with South Farm because the grounds were gorgeous and the team genuinely cared about our day – in the end it was every single penny well spent.

The menu tasting was a real event and we stayed overnight in one of the caravans to see what it would be like for some of our guests (and it was very comfortable!). The food was delicious and there were plenty of veggie options. Our planning meeting with Evie was incredibly helpful with talking through timings, settings, and what the overall day would look like, which ended up being almost exactly how it went. We were very lucky to have Evie as our coordinator on the day as well and could not have been happier. She helped everything run along smoothly behind the scenes and let us know what was happening at every point. It was a real hands-off experience where we knew that every step was handled expertly and with care to ensure it followed our ideal plan from our planning meeting.

If we could redo the day, I don’t think we would change a thing. The only thing that could have ruined our plans was the weather on the day but somehow South Farm pulled that out of the bag as well and had the sun come out for our outdoor ceremony and drinks reception and put off the raining until we were inside for the wedding breakfast. We can’t thank the team enough for all their efforts – they’ve made it a day to remember for so many different reasons.

Our wedding at South Farm was incredible! We truly cannot recommend this place enough. From the moment we started planning right through to the last dance, the team at South Farm went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect (shout out to Nikki and Helen)
The staff were simply outstanding. Their responsiveness and helpfulness in the lead-up to the wedding were exceptional, and on the day itself, they were truly on point. They listened attentively to all our wishes, catering to our every need and effortlessly taking away all the stress, especially during the busy morning preparations. They even took wonderful care of all our guests, including the more particular ones!
Our day was a busy one, starting with a traditional Sri Lankan ceremony. This was something South Farm hadn’t hosted before, but their dedication shone through. They researched it thoroughly, showing a genuine keenness to learn and adapt, making us feel completely supported and understood. Following this, we had our civil ceremony, and again, the team was impeccable with directing us and managing all the timings, seamlessly handling every element, including the music. Their advice on the best timing for our photo booth was spot on – having it during the reception dancing was absolutely ideal, and we’re so glad we listened!
Beyond the exceptional service, the venue itself is utterly perfect. The vibrant red roses, coupled with the yellow and blue house, livened up every corner, creating a truly joyful homely atmosphere. And of course, the animals on the farm added such a unique and charming touch. As I walked down the aisle, the baby ducks even started waddling alongside, as if directing me towards the aisle – they were definitely paid actors!
What truly impressed us even more was the excellent value for money South Farm offered. They were super on top of all reconciliations and financial aspects, making the entire process transparent and stress-free.
Everything about South Farm was just so lovely, and our day was truly magical thanks to their incredible efforts. We wholeheartedly recommend them to any couple looking for a truly special and stress-free wedding experience.

We are back In Hampshire after our daughter’s wedding to Simon and my husband and I just wanted to thank you for a perfect and unique wedding venue.
My husband grew all the flowers for our daughter’s wedding and it fitted perfectly with your stunning venue.
Most importantly we would like to thank all your very kind and considerate staff from the start of the day to the end of the day and beyond.
Hayley coordinated the day and she was a true professional and couldn’t do enough for us and never once did her smile leave her face.
Clare who I met as she came into work on Friday morning was delightful and I thoroughly enjoyed talking to her, she is incredibly kind and friendly.
I also want to take the time to thank the night crew who moved all our milk churn displays, jam jar flowers, welcome sign and table plan and most importantly photographs of departed loved family members and made a beautiful display.  That was going up and beyond and it meant so much.
To all the hardworking staff thank you, each and every one of you made for a wonderful day and we are incredibly grateful.
The hog roast was delicious and all the food was so well made and presented. Thank you to the kitchen and the serving staff.

I was performing at South Farm on Saturday for a beautiful wedding. From the moment I arrived, Evie the Wedding Coordinator, was totally amazing. She made sure I knew exactly where I was going, where to set up and explained all the timings to me. It was just the perfect day and I would highly recommend this place. Its absolutely beautiful, the staff are amazing and the service is second to none!

We got married at South Farm in June and it was just the best day of our lives! South Farm was the perfect venue, and we knew that from our first visit.
Everything was brilliant, the venue is beautiful and the team are just amazing. South Farm have got weddings down to a fine art, from the quick turn around of rooms, food and drink choices, ceremony options, waiting staff, planning staff, gardening team, kitchen team – South Farm made it an absolute dream.

The weather was perfect – we had a few people asking where abouts in the South of France our wedding was, because the grounds were gorgeous! We loved every second and I really couldn’t imagine our wedding anywhere else.

As soon as we drove in on our very first visit, we knew this was the venue for us. South Farm is wonderful in every way – the stunning scenery, the animals, the absolutely incredible food (most of which is grown on site!) not to mention the amazing people who work here – the happiest and friendliest bunch of people I think we’ve ever met. Nothing was too much to ask, they actively encouraged us to make our special day unique to us and we will be forever grateful for that. We truly had the most magical day we could have ever wished for. South Farm will always have a special place in our hearts – the home of our favourite day ever.

I first came across south farm online and fell in love with the venue . Myself & my husband booked a viewing and it was everything we had wished for and more!! The friendly staff and animals around the venue were the cherry on top of the cake. We decided to look at more venues as south farm was the first one we looked at and we kept coming away with south farm at the top. We booked a second viewing with family members and they all fell in love with the venue like us, we knew it was the one! We then attended the food tasting evening which we were both looking forward to as we are big foodies and wow what an excellent night, the food was amazing. We had lots of comments from guests after the wedding saying how fantastic the food was and it was the best wedding food they have had! The staff were fantastic and listened to everything we needed & wanted, I couldn’t fault a thing! I wish we could redo the day again from start to finish.

When we first arrived at South Farm for a first visit, we knew instantly that this would be the venue for our big day. There was simply no comparison, nowhere else came close. From the planning, to the big-day itself, the team at South Farm were exemplary. We’ll always remember how perfect our day was – even the weather fully cooperated. All of our guests, from both the UK and abroad, had the same feedback – “wow!”. The ceremony, the reception, the food, the location…. all outstanding.

We honestly do not have the right words to express just how grateful we are for everything you did for us. You were absolutely incredible from start to finish. The attention to detail, Nicki’s calm presence, and the genuine care you put into every part of our day was beyond anything we could have hoped for.

We just wanted to touch in and say a massive thank you to yourself and the team at South Farm for everything in the lead up to and on our big day last Wednesday.
The venue was stunning and everything we could have hoped for on our wedding day. We’ve already had so many of our guests share this sentiment and I think it’s safe to say everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
We appreciate all the efforts from the team at South Farm and wanted to extend a special mention to Helen who was fantastic throughout the day to help make sure everything ran smoothly and always seemed to be there whenever we needed anything.

Tom and I just wanted to thank the team at South Farm again for a wonderful day on Saturday. The day couldn’t have gone better, and we’ve no doubt that was because of the efficiency, attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. All of our guests had a fabulous day and we got so many compliments about the food (one of our guests said the food was “out of this world”).
In particular, we wanted to thank Hayley for being totally amazing. She made the day go so seamlessly. Hayley made us feel completely relaxed, and was so friendly and on the ball all day. From running around moving our flowers to make sure every part of the day looked stunning, to trekking through the fields with us so that we could see the pigs, every aspect of our day was perfect thanks to her. And they were just the bits we noticed. I’m sure Hayley had to deal with lots of things we weren’t even aware of too, so thank you Hayley.
Also a mention to Claire, who was the first member of staff I spoke to when I first arrived at South Farm to set up the Tudor Barn. Claire was busy serving breakfast next door but still found the time to give me a really friendly welcome (and knew who I was before I told her my name) and helped me relax as I was setting up. Breakfast the next day was fab too.

To Hayley & The Team at South Farm, We both wanted to say a huge thank you for helping to make our wedding day a literal fairytale. South Farm is the most incredible venue, with the most picturesque grounds, staff who genuinely love their jobs and food that you’d expect in a high-end restaurant!

From the moment we viewed South Farm, every single member of staff from house keeping to gardeners to event managers could not have been friendlier, politer and more helpful. None of our questions seemed silly (even when they were!) and nothing was ever too much of an ask.

South Farm have the most amazing indoor and outdoor spaces, you’re almost spoilt for choice as to where to have your ceremony, your drinks reception and your evening party. Every single detail has been thought out and they have not missed a thing. We even got to visit and have pictures with South Farm’s pigs on our big day!

The food at South Farm is insane. We knew it would be after our taster evening, but on the day, and after, we had so many guests raving about the food at the wedding breakfast and in the evening. Everything was cooked to perfection, and no dietary requirement was ever an issue at all.

The accommodation at South Farm is top tier, everything is clean, fresh and comfy. The bridal suite is set over two floors and made the perfect area for my bridal party and I to get ready. The romany caravans on site are a quirky addition to the venue that our guests loved.

The whole planning process at South Farm was personalised but stress-free. We were lucky enough to have Nikki conduct our planning meeting and then act as our event manager on the day. I can’t express our gratitude enough to Nikki for being so calm and collected and dealing with absolutely everything. We felt like royalty on our wedding day, nothing was too much or a problem – even cleaning mud from my dress with a baby wipe (thank you Nikki!).

We cannot recommend South Farm enough, everything is so well thought out but allows for everyone to have a unique and personalised wedding.

We had our wedding here in May 2025 and it exceeded our highest expectations. The venue was absolutely stunning, the staff (especially Evie, Sue, Claire, Christine and Becky) couldn’t do enough to help (even some eccentric requests), and the food was impeccable. Many guests told us this was the best wedding venue they had ever been to – and we couldn’t fault any part of our experience with South Farm.

After the most magical wedding day, we are writing to express our deep gratitude to the incredible South Farm team for creating the perfect day for us. We’re sitting on our honeymoon reflecting on just how special last Friday was in no small part due to the care, attention to detail, and sheer brilliance of all of the team at South Farm.

From our first visit, we knew your special venue was the place for our special day. We were given an expert guided tour that allowed us to picture what our wedding day could be like, and from then until the big day, we were supported to make the dream a reality!

Throughout the planning process, over the last six months, we have been struck by how knowledgable, kind and attentive every member of your team has been. Whoever we bumped into on our visits was always friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Our planning meeting helped us to cement the vision and we so appreciated the team’s expertise in pulling together the schedule for the day. This attention and care continued on our wedding day and all the guests remarked on just how organised and brilliant the team were.

Unsurprisingly, everyone loved the venue. We adored it and knew everyone else would too, but it really was the most perfect setting. The grounds looked stunning, the accommodation beautifully clean and comfortable and all the spaces used for our wedding just fitted the bill perfectly. We loved the intimate feel of the Old Dairy for our ceremony, the south of France vibes on the terrace for the drinks reception, and the romance of the Tudor Barn for our meal! We know that maintaining all these stunning spaces doesn’t happen easily and without a lot of hard work so a huge thank you to all involved. No one could believe how incredibly slick you all were at the changeover of different spaces and all of this just meant the day flowed beautifully, which was a real priority for us.

The food and catering was exquisite. People loved the canapés and I know those with dietary requirements appreciated being found and hand delivered their specialised plates. Thank you for accommodating our various requirements. The wedding breakfast was delicious! Everyone remarked on just how incredible it was, and despite being very full by dessert, most managed to squeeze some of that in too! Neither of us made it to the kebabs in the evening but they also received rave reviews all round! We had forgotten to sort a topper for the wedding cake and were very touched that your wonderful kitchen staff teamed up with our florist to decorate our simple cake so beautifully. These touches really did make our day all the more wonderful.

Our wedding day was expertly guided by Helen, who helped us feel at ease throughout. We felt in very safe hands as she guided us through the day, helping us stick to the schedule without ever feeling like we were being rushed. Sincere thanks to Helen for helping the day to run so smoothly, so that we could focus on the joy of celebrating our marriage with family and friends.

We were touched that so much of the clear-up had been done by the breakfast on Saturday morning, which again allowed us to wrap up this incredible experience by focusing on breakfast with our nearest and dearest. You’ve thought of everything and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Thank you so much for helping to create one of the most special days of our lives. We’re deeply grateful and can’t wait to see the photos to relive it all again soon! Thank you for providing the perfect backdrop to our wedding day – what a way to begin our married life together!

I would like to say a massive thank you to South Farm. The people that work there are amazing and cannot do enough to help, from the planning stage (Michelle) , the day before (Nikki) and the unflappable ever present Haley on the big day. The whole team appear to be one big family and they look after you as if you are one of their own. They put you at ease allowing you to enjoy the happiest day of your life. Our guests couldn’t sing your praises enough. Also behind the scenes, the grounds looked beautiful, the food was delicious and the bar staff prompt and friendly, not forgetting the great standards of the housekeepers. It is a magnificent venue that has exacting high standards and anyone who has a wedding there will be overjoyed with the service, I know we were. It was a joy.

From our first visit to South Farm, we knew it was the venue for us. As well as the stunning grounds, the team were so friendly, great communication and went above and beyond to help plan and execute our dream day. The tasting night was one to remember and got us excited for the wedding day.

On the day, an especially huge thank you to Michelle for coordinating. Everything went so smoothly and we didn’t have to think about anything which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy the day from start to finish. Thank you to the whole South Farm team – we know everyone all worked exceptionally hard in the background to make the day a success. The grounds and house were beautiful, food absolutely delicious and everything really was perfect and better than we could have imagined. Our guests felt absolutely spoiled and it was the most magical day for our wedding.

We had the most amazing spring wedding at South Farm! From our first meeting with the team, we felt confident that they would be able to make our day special for us, and they really delivered! The food was exceptional – we had a buffet and myself (bride) and two of our guests had our own special gluten/dairy free buffet so we wouldn’t feel left out :) throughout the day our Wedding Coordinator continuously checked in with us to see how we were, if we needed anything and gave us our own platter of canapés! They also checked if we were cold when sitting at dinner (we weren’t at all, but it was so nice to be so looked after). The breakfast the next morning was delicious – we had an Iranian table (sofreh aghd) set up the night before and the team very kindly set it back up for us in the dining area so we could enjoy it which was really thoughtful! And it was great to just debrief and spend even more time with our close family and friends. The grounds and rooms were all stunning, we loved every moment. I recommend South Farm to everyone.

Thank you for making our dream wedding come to life! From the moment i first saw the venue i knew this was the place i wanted to get married. From the grounds to the gorgeous Old dairy and  Tudor barn, i knew this would be the perfect place for us to celebrate our wedding! Then we met you all and it just solidified it for us as your kindness and genuine love for your job shines!
Evie, you were the perfect wedding planner and nothing was ever too much trouble for you. Always going above and beyond to make sure it all went perfectly (which it did)! So a huge thank you to you as you really deserve it.
Also wanted to say thank you to the extremely kind member of your team (who i’m sorry to say i cant remember the name of) who drove all the way to biggleswade to get a security tag removed from my dads suit. Thats a new level of going above and beyond!!!!
The food was incredible, and even better than we remember from the tasting evening! We received so many compliments which we wanted to make sure gets passed back to the catering team.

The perfect day!

We had our day on the 19th March 2025 & we cannot express how perfect it was! From visiting south farm for the first time, to leaving the venue the morning after, the staff were incredible! On the day our wedding coordinator Nicky was just fabulous! If it wasn’t for her the groom & groomsmen would have turned up half dressed! She made the day run so smoothly & was so caring & attentive! We would just love to do the day all over again! THANK YOU ❤️❤️❤️

We can’t believe a week has already passed and keep reliving moments from the day. Every member of South Farm staff contributed to making our day so special and personal. It really was perfect!
Special shout out to Helen for being AMAZING. Helen thought of everything and it felt like she could read our minds at times – we’d think something and it would appear/happen!! So welcoming, so lovely and so organised.
Another special shout out to all the members of staff (particularly Evie) who answered our emails – we asked A LOT of questions! Answers were always prompt, super detailed and normally predicted the next question we would have. We were always left feeling as though everything was very under control and stress free.
So many of our guests commented on just how beautiful South Farm was and our ceremony outdoors (we still aren’t over the weather letting us do that!). Thank you to all who keep the grounds look so gorgeous. Matt and I stayed after breakfast the next day to wander round – we just didn’t want to leave!!
Also, a quick shout out to a few other people who made our time so special – Emily, Nikki, Claire, Christine, Summer, and the whole kitchen team because the food was incredible. I’m sure we’re forgetting others who also contributed to giving us such a good experience, so thank you (and apologies!) to them too. Obviously, it’s a team effort, and Helen couldn’t have done it without the amazing staff on duty that day, who were all fantastic, thank you so much ♥️

The venue is so beautiful, and we appreciate the effort that goes into keeping it looking perfect. The food was out of this world (but we knew that was never going to be in doubt), everyone is still raving about the marinated beef 😁

We hope we haven’t missed anyone out, this is a huge thank you to everyone. You totally surpassed all of our expectations, and it was such a wonderful day that we will remember for the rest of our lives (Gary suggested we do it again next year 🤣)

And to top it all off, I have married the man I adore, and having our wedding at South Farm was the icing on the cake.

We had the best time and so did all our guests, everyone kept commenting on how beautiful the venue was, how good the food was and how amazing all the staff were so thank you so so much!

South Farm provided the most magical experience for our wedding. My husband and I loved that it felt like a beautiful rustic home hosting our wedding, not a corporate event space. This feel is reinforced by the friendly and accommodating team at South Farm. Everyone we encountered was so nice and would go out of their way to be helpful, from the event managers through to the kitchen staff and gardeners. They ensured the whole day ran seamlessly and was as stress free as possible. We are also incredibly grateful they found a way for our dogs to stay for the whole wedding unlike other venues that claimed to be dog friendly, but in fact only allowed dogs for a short photo window and wouldn’t even countenance any flexibility. Another reason we chose South Farm was the range of wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces that were all exclusively ours for the day. It meant we could rest easy that even if the weather wasn’t on our side the Old Dairy would still provide a charming indoor ceremony option (which it ended up being thanks to the British weather). It also meant there was minimal room turnaround faff disrupting the flow of the day unlike some venues where there really is only one room doing the heavy lifting, so to speak, for all parts of a wedding day. (The gorgeous Tudor Barn with its fairy light ceiling was an atmospheric setting for dinner and evening mingling, while the adjoining Horse Barn with its glass floor and lighting was perfect for dancing to the band, meanwhile my husband and I loved the cute library which was a lovely backdrop for photos.) Another aspect of South Farm that deserves a special shout out is the food! It was amazing and we had so many guests praise the food and say it was the best they have ever had at a wedding. Thank you so much, South Farm, for ensuring we, and our guests, just had the best day!

Sarah and I got married at South Farm at the beginning of September and had a truly fantastic experience with South Farm. Their staff are phenomenal – nothing is too much trouble. They always answer the phones and emails very quickly and provide cheery and knowledgeable replies to all our questions. We really enjoyed our show around and tasting sessions – such a fun opportunity to taste a lot of dishes in one evening and experience what a wedding at South Farm is really like. The venue itself is stunning and so much care is taken over every single detail – not a weed in the garden, everything was meticulously prepared for us with lots of thoughtful details. There are so many different options for where to have your ceremony and reception, meaning the day is tailored to your tastes and number of guests. We had so many lovely comments about the venue, the staff and the delicious food! Many people said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! Helen, our coordinator on the day was fab – nothing was too much trouble and she quietly ensured everything ran like clockwork and regularly checked in to see if we needed anything. We both just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone at south farm for making our day so special. From the moment we visited the venue we knew that it was the venue for us and going to be a special and beautiful day but it honestly went above and beyond our expectations.

Throughout the planning process you listened and answered all our questions and provided advice so promptly. Nicky was so knowledgeable during our planning meeting and as a team you always provided solutions to any of our problems or ideas so effortlessly.  You were so incredibly sensitive and flexible when it came to my uncle being unwell and for that my family and I are so grateful.

On our wedding day we had Evie as our co-ordinator and cannot thank her enough. Everything ran so so smoothly, and she was so on it! She was excellent with our flower girl and all of our guests. So many people have commented on what a fantastic job she did at co-ordinating it all. It was just incredible to see all of our ideas come to life!

We also just want to give a huge thanks to all the people who worked at our wedding – everyone was so friendly and made us and our families feel so special. The kitchen staff were excellent and we along with all of our guests were honestly blown away by the food! It was incredible!!! Please pass on a huge thank you to them!

My wife and I have just returned home after spending 22nd July with you on the occasion of our son Ben’s wedding to Aimée. I feel compelled to tell you what a magical day it was and how superbly you managed the whole event. The venue was stunning, the arrangements were seamlessly smooth and your staff were unfailingly pleasant and efficient – as well as being incredibly discreet. Our food at the wedding lunch was delicious and our accommodation (in the Parrot Room) was top notch. I really don’t know how you do it! Thank you all for a completely marvellous day!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the most perfect wedding we could have wished for on Saturday. It exceeded our (already high) expectations by some distance and everything you – as a venue – could have controlled was absolutely immaculate.

Hayley was exceptional, she seemed to be everywhere and nowhere the whole time! She filled us with so much confidence that everything would be dealt with discreetly and professionally. I think her greatest skill of all was making me feel relaxed about the fact that we were behind schedule and making sure everything slotted perfectly around the thing that was of such high importance to us and beyond her control – getting married outside.

We do also know that for us she was the figurehead of a big team who were all pulling their weight to deliver. The food was stunning, the service impeccable, the place was sparkling clean, everyone was so friendly. It feels so rare at the moment to have an experience where, not only can you not fault anything, but that you have your expectations continually exceeded. It felt like anything that could be done to make the day better, was done – even the things that you couldn’t possibly think of.

I would also like to mention Claire at breakfast, she had such an effervescent character every time we saw her that really contributes to the entire aura of south farm.

We had a wonderful day and wish it never ended! Our guests have been praising how fabulous the venue, food, service and everything was on our special day at South Farm (which echoes how we feel). It really was our perfect day. Hayley did a brilliant job of keeping our day running smoothly and making sure we were happy throughout the day. The staff were incredibly helpful for us in the morning when we were setting up all our decorations and games, and staff were so helpful the day after returning things my Nanna had left in her room, and breakfast was fabulous too!

So sorry it has taken me so long to write a review. Life has flown by since our wedding day and I wanted to spend some time putting into words how amazing our day was!

We were heavily set on marrying in Sorrento until we visited South Farm. We had a quote drawn up and were ready to sign on the dotted line but family urged us to visit at least 1 venue in the UK before we committed. Looking at venues online, the images of the big yellow house were the only ones that drew us in, and so we booked a tour one Sunday (thank god!). As we walked around the charming farm on a dreary English afternoon, with each room we both began to imagine our big day in this venue. As soon as we both stepped inside the summerhouse, we could see ourselves contently reading our vows feeling isolated and content with our guests a stones throw away on the other side of the water. A small tour round to the barn, we realised how little we’d have to do to wow our guests as the beauty of the ‘naked’ barn spoke for itself. Once we sat down with Jane to discuss food options, we were well and truly sold.

Everything from that day was smooth sailing with South Farm. The only thing we worried about during the planning process, was the fact that we were so laid back and unstressed. With the help of Evie and Michelle, everything fell into place perfectly because we really trusted their advice. They both felt like good friends! Evie even sent updates on flowers blooming through spring leading up to our day to get us excited. We couldn’t wait to have a spring wedding on such carefully tended grounds. Everyone we met from South Farm on the numerous tours with family and friends made us feel at home, which was lovely. The team never made us feel like we were ‘just another package wedding’ the whole process felt unique and personalised.

We would recommend booking South Farm as your wedding venue just for the tasting evening! We couldn’t wait to have a chance to stay at our wedding venue before the big day and taste almost everything they had to offer. What an experience! We were already set on the Asian fusion feast, whereby guests would share courses we chose from lazy susans in the centre of the table. We loved the thought of guests bonding over good food and wanted our friends and family to dine how we often do at home. Our guests have not stopped talking about how incredible the food was on the day. ‘Best wedding food ever’ is a phrase we’ve heard at least twice daily since the wedding 2 weeks ago! Everyone has been raving about the beef massaman and the salmon red thai curry and could not believe the portion sizes. The white chocolate pave to finish was also a massive hit (shout out to Hannah)! We both hope we get the chance to eat this food again one day, I honestly cannot find the words to fully express how happy we are about our wedding day food- unforgettable!

Evie, you were magnificent on our wedding day! You made me and Matty feel at complete ease. We are so happy we got to have our ceremony outside in the stunning gardens and know that had we booked a different venue that probably wouldn’t have been the case given the typical British weather. Thank you for planting a sausage for us- we hope you get a good harvest of Cumberland’s from it next year! We utilised the entire venue and the day flowed effortlessly. All of the smaller details did not go unnoticed and made us feel so special. From the helping hands on the morning of the wedding, through to the saved portion of evening food and wedding cake in our room at the end of the night. I actually feel emotional writing this review because its over but I’m full of thanks because our wedding day couldn’t have been anymore special. You’re all truly talented, caring and outrageously fun.

It was crazy, the weather kept you on your toes, the back tables with their fancy champagne and bad manners, the fun change I threw in because ppl got off their seats before the last speech – you just handled it with such professionalism and poise. Even though I am sure inside you wanted to tear your hair out! Haha    I was so impressed by the table service too.

The outcome?

The best wedding we and most of our guests have ever been to. Our guests had the BEST DAY! Everyone was smiling from start to finish! So many ppl have commented on how incredible you were, Mich. We all wanted to be your friend at the end. Shot gun!

We just wanted to say an enormous thank you to you all for helping us to have the most special wedding day! It really could not have been any more perfect.

We fell in love with South Farm the first day we visited, and we honestly could not have chosen a better venue in which to celebrate our big day. We wanted to say a special thanks to Michelle for helping us with our planning meeting and a HUGE thank you to Hayley for being an absolute star on the day itself. Her attention to detail was unmatched. We are especially grateful of the limoncello spritz’ she organised for us during the Wedding Breakfast (which we believe was also Michelle’s suggestion!).

A big thank you also to the kitchen staff – we have had nothing but compliments and glowing reviews about the food – which we think is evidenced in the fact that there was barely anything left!

The wedding really was the best day of both of our lives (to date!) and we really could not be happier with how it all turned out.

The venue is absolutely stunning inside and out, with so many wonderful photo opportunities and hidden areas for your guests to explore.

Our wedding planner – Michelle – went above and beyond to support us throughout the planning process, making a complex process feel easy and finding ways to fulfil all of our requests to really personalise the day and make it our own. When our wedding planner was unwell just before the big day, we were introduced to Nikki who did a fantastic job in picking it up and really understanding the vision, to the point that it was just a non-issue on the day.

The outdoor ceremony in the summerhouse was breathtaking, honestly like something out of a dream. Despite a rainy morning, the staff reassured us that it would be okay, waited until the last possible moment to set the chairs out to avoid the rain and we had the perfect sunny outdoor ceremony and drinks reception.  I know they can’t control the weather, but they certainly managed it well!

Our guests had the most amazing time, and we had so many compliments for the venue, the numerous bars, and the way they were ushered throughout the day – nobody felt lost or like they were waiting around.

The food was perfect! South Farm catered to a huge range of dietary requirements for the wedding breakfast, and our family still talk about the evening food – the street food noodle bar was the highlight of the day for some people!

Finally, we had the most amazing evening reception with live music in the Horse Barn. It is such a gorgeous, unique space for the dancefloor that allows guests in the Tudor Barn, either getting a drink or having a rest, to still feel involved through the ingenious glass wall panels. The Horse Barn was big enough for a party, but small enough that it never felt empty.

Thank you to the whole team at South Farm for the perfect wedding day – we would recommend this venue in a heartbeat. If only we could do it all again!

From start to finish, everyone at South Farm has been brilliant and there really are no words that can describe just how fantastic you have all been, right from the start, to the day itself, we couldn’t have asked for any more.

We would like to say thank you to Sue (organising things on Sunday morning), my sister (Dan’s side) managed to break her metatarsal on the Saturday night skipping on the dancefloor having had a few too many Peroni’s!  On Sunday morning, she had a dizzy spell and fell to the floor at breakfast.  Sue came to help and was brilliant, she put my sister at ease & made sure she left the venue comfortable.  So thank you so much for this, Alesia (my sister) is very appreciative.

Lastly, we must make a special mention for Evie!  Evie managed the day incredibly, if anything didn’t go to plan, we never knew because as far as we were concerned the whole day was better than we could ever have imagined!  Evie did such an amazing job, not just for us, but our guests also commented on just how efficient and accommodating Evie was, nothing was too much trouble, everything flowed beautifully.  Evie even got dragged on to the dancefloor by Lawson (our 3yr old little boy)!

Wow… you guys are amazing! I’m Lucy’s older sister (and maid of honour) and I just wanted to reach out to thank you all! 

 Firstly, thank you to Hayley… you were incredible start to finish! You helped me with everything, from presentations to ABBA dances! You made the day so easy and we all had an amazing time! 

  Secondly, thank you to the wider team. Anyone I approached with my crazy requests etc were more than happy to help or find me someone that could help! From allowing us to access the venue early to practice our dance, to helping me find left over noodles for Lucy and Caleb to have a midnight snack before bed! Every request was dealt with, with a smile on your face (possibly because you thought I was crazy) and nothing was ever too much trouble!

We had the most amazing day, despite the rain never letting up!! We were so happy with the service you provided. She was always checking in, and always spotted scenarios that she could help us out with, alongside helpful suggestions. I’m so thankful to her for offering to move our lanterns through to behind our top table, as the photos would not of been the same. I was at that point where I wasn’t able to think clearly with decision making so I really appreciate her conscientiousness and attention to detail! There aren’t any negatives to give you! The guests loved the food (particular favourites with everyone was the harissa chicken and macaroni cheese!) and adored the venue.  Thanks to Summer for selling it to us on our first visit. This was the first place we viewed as a venue, and we only saw one other after. We knew as soon as we walked out! Thank you Nicki for answering my relentless questions and helping us out on Friday. Michelle, wow, you clearly do this 6 days a week. Flawless management of the whole day and your laid back attitude really suited us and all our guests. You really took the stress away from us on the big day (mostly) and you knew exactly when I needed a tequila. It’s clear you lot all love your job and I think that’s one of the reasons South Farm runs so smoothly and is such a beautiful place. Please extend our thanks to the rest of the team including the chefs, bar team, and of course Claire, who I also met on the first visit as she tried to help us jump start our car.

We just wanted to say a massive thank you or helping us have the best day of our lives. Right from our first show round with James, we knew this was the wedding venue for us. It ticked all our boxes and more. From then every single team member we dealt with were so helpful and friendly.. The food tasting was like nothing we had seen before, so much tasty food, a night we will always remember. Big shout out to Evie who from our planning meeting made us feel like our wedding was in safe hands. From answering my many emails and questions to being there on the day to make sure it all went smoothly. Another shout out for Luke for staying late with us the day before the wedding when we ran behind getting everything set up for our big day. You honestly have got this wedding thing nailed and we are gutted we can’t do the whole day again. Hopefully we will get the pleasure of being at your wonderful venue in the future for other weddings and events.

We’re still basking in the glow of what can only be described as the best and most magical day of our lives. From the very first moment we stepped foot on the grounds to the last dance of the evening, our experience at South Farm was nothing short of phenomenal.

You Christine, and Evie, always so helpful and responsive over email, making our planning process seamless. No query was too big or small for you, and your dedication to ensuring our vision came to life did not go unnoticed.

Finally, the incredibly talented chefs deserve accolades for the amazing spread they prepared. We received countless compliments from our guests, with some declaring it the best wedding food they’ve ever tasted. Considering we’ve got quite a fussy eaters in our family – not a single complaint was heard!

South Farm has etched itself forever in our hearts, thanks to the collective efforts of every staff member involved in making our day perfect. From the warm greetings from the housekeeping team when I first arrived, to the attentive care throughout the day, everyone at South Farm went above and beyond to ensure not only our happiness but also that of our families, friends, and suppliers.

We wanted to say a massive thank you for making our day so special. We had so much fun and couldn’t have hoped for a better wedding day or smoother running of affairs.  

Michelle was utterly wonderful and made us feel very relaxed and reassured whilst also bringing a really positive and fun energy. The food was incredible, as many of our guests commented on the day. We absolutely loved the dessert with the pistachio ice cream (thank you!) and also really appreciated how your chefs’ accommodated dietaries without compromising on the flavour or quality of the food.  

Whilst South Farm is a stunning venue in itself, it was great to be able to relax knowing we were in the hands of true professionals; it’s clear all staff work hard to ensure everyone having a good time and we can’t thank you enough!

South Farm Wedding Venue more than lived up to expectations for our Grand-Daughter´s wedding! The beautiful grounds, so well maintained, were a joy to walk around with our younger Grandchildren, showing them the pigs/piglets, sheep too, and the ponds, providing also a fantastic settings for copious photos of the happy couple, family and friends. Now the professional photos are available, I am in awe of the Gardening teams attention to detail, hard work, and skills. The Parrot suite was amazing, reminding us of the wild parrots flying in and around our village, The high standards of the House staff could not be faulted in anyway, not that we would, no, everything and more made our stay comfortable, thank you all so much! As for the wedding, the ceremony, every aspect prepared to a superb and thoughtful standard. The celebratory meal after was brilliant, as a coeliac I was amazed at the person centred attention – ensuring no cross-contamination in my Gluten Free dietary needs, this, for me, does not happen often when away from home, and, for once, I was able to relax and eat with confidence indeed! The Catering team are a credit to South Farm, and staff attending behind the scenes and front, I could see from the top table, all family and friends were enjoying the very high standards reached, not only for the celebratory meal, the evening one too, the Paella was in the class A plus plus!! With-out exception all staff around the grounds, and with-in each area inside the Venue, were so friendly, we felt like living the dream! Our Grand-Daughter and Grand-Son certainly could not have surpassed South Farm when selecting their wedding venue, no, not for many miles!! From our hearts to each of you at South Farm, thank you very much indeed for all your amazing care to detail, hard work and setting such high standards! A truly remarkable Venue, a superb experience and now a memory we shall never forget. I highly recommend South Farm.

Dan and I just wanted to send a quick email to say thank you so much for making our wedding day run so smoothly – everyone we’ve spoken to said that it was a gorgeous venue, and they all commented that it was the best wedding food they’d ever had.  To be honest, the marinated beef was the talk of the night????

Helen did a fantastic job of quietly and calmly ensuring that everyone was where they needed to be at the right time – always available if we needed her, but never intrusive. The same applies to all the South Farm staff – it’s really impressive how everyone just quietly comes in to do their role, and disappears again without intruding. An incredibly professional but personal team!

We recently had the pleasure of filming Hope & Alister’s wedding at your beautiful property – I’m sure you know the story and we were drafted in last minute, but we were never made to feel like that! As soon as we arrived at South Farm, we were greeted with smiles and made to feel part of the team/gang/family and we wanted to say thank you for that.

The property itself is absolutely stunning but a huge thank you to the fabulous Hayley for keeping us up to date on everything that was happening throughout the day, making sure we were fed and watered and ensuring we were happy and having a good time – and we weren’t even guests at the wedding! It was very clear to us that the team at South Farm love weddings and love their job roles and it was an absolute joy to work with all of you along with the very talented Bea!

On the day Helen made sure it ran like a military operation and catered to all our requests – like making a cheese less pizza for the groomsmen!

She offered advice and listened to us without ever rushing us and ensured we were always happy!

Our guests said the food was the best wedding food and steak they’d ever eaten and our groomsmen were sad there were no left overs for polishing off as a result! Aside from the food all our guests were so blown away by the amazing grounds and of course loved the pigs! We couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was utterly perfect!

Before we go away on our honeymoon we just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for making our wedding as perfect as it was on Friday (9 June).

From the moment we visited South Farm we knew it was the one and we could not have picked a more perfect wedding venue for our special day.

All the staff have been incredible from the get go but we would like to give a special thanks to:

•  Jane, our event manager on the day. Your diligence and professionalism was second to none and you made us feel at ease from the outset. Nothing was a problem and everything ran as perfectly as it could.
• The kitchen team. Wow!!! The food was absolutely incredible. We have had so many compliments about it from our guests!! We had a lot of dietary requirements but nothing was too big or a problem and our gluten free guests have even said this was the best gluten free food they had ever had at an event – they were blown away with it!
• The waiting staff and bar team. Your team were such a credit to you. It was an extremely hot day and they worked tirelessly throughout making sure everyone was topped up with drinks and taking great care of our guests. They were all so friendly and thoughtful – really looking out for us – thank you.
• The groundskeepers – the venue looked absolutely beautiful on the day and perfectly maintained.
• The cleaning crew. The place is always spotless and whenever we have visited prior to our day the cleaning crew have always been so friendly and thoughtful, answering any questions and letting us have a look in rooms around them as they work. What a special team you have.
• Emily for planning the day with us in January and running through our planner. You were fabulous!!
• The wonderful smiley lady that runs and leads the breakfast who we have seen on many occasion (and have never quite caught her name). We’ve visited on a few occasions and she has always been exactly the same, happy, kind and helpful! She really looked after us the morning after our wedding and we are beyond grateful.

I am sure we have missed off more but honestly we are just so happy and still on such a wedding high!

We feel very sad we now don’t have a reason to visit again haha!

We had an absolutely incredible day and we are still on our cloud 9 bubble from this!

I’m sure you hear many brides and grooms say they had the perfect day, but with everyone at South Farms help it really was a little slice of perfection!

Leading up to the wedding Erica has been absolutely amazing! She is an absolute credit to south farm! During our planning meeting she helped us both feel so at ease and really helped us feel that south farm had our day under control! She even made sure to put special measures in place for my grandma which my entire family noticed and appreciated, thank you so much!

I (very silly of me) didn’t catch the lovely lady’s name who was cleaning the bridal suite, but, she was so lovely and kind on arrival and the next morning was so excited to hear how our day went which was lovely!
All of the lovely waiting staff were fantastic!! My granny was very impressed that when they cleared all the plates it was so quiet and seem less! We cannot thank you all enough as well as your fantastic bar staff who would have worked a long day to help us have our perfect day!! ????????

As for Michelle, if I could thank her every day for the rest of my life it wouldn’t be enough!! She was incredible on the day! She was 5 steps ahead of everyone, even my mum which can be a tricky job to do! Our day ran without fault down to her! Her calm and laid back attitude deffinatly helped me when I began to feel anxious over certain points in the day. She was always there with a calming voice saying that she had already sorted it and everything was in place! If you could please pass on mine and Hugo’s thanks to her! She was a fantastic wedding planner and she helped our perfect day come to life! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!!

Firstly, thank you SO much for yesterday to all the team at South Farm.

Everything was perfect and we loved every minute of it. The guests have all been telling us how amazing they thought the food was. Helen was wonderful and everything ran seamlessly.

The last couple of days have been a total whirlwind but we’d been meaning to write an email to say a HUGE thank you to all the staff at South Farm for the most wonderful day.

I don’t think we can put in to words how truly amazing it was. Everything ran exactly to plan and it was just the perfect wedding day.

We can’t speak highly enough of everyone working at South Farm. From the first time we looked around the venue to the morning after the wedding, everyone has been fantastic. Michelle and Evie on the day ensured everything was taken care of, even things we hadn’t thought of, and importantly kept us topped up with drinks throughout our busy day. Lots of our guests have commented on how attentive the staff were and how the meal service was seamless even though we had a meal choice. The food was all absolutely delicious!

The band we employed also wanted me to pass on their thanks to Michelle and the team who they said were legends. ☺️

Sadly one of our guests was taken ill after the meal, but the staff dealt with it very professionally. She was well looked after and medical assistance was called for her. We’re grateful for this.

You gave our daughter Jen & new son-in-law Matt the most amazing wedding day. The whole day was perfect in every way. Thank you so much

South Farm was the most perfect wedding venue, it’s absolutely stunning rain or shine, 24/7 365! We had the most wonderful day filled with laughter and fun and everything flowed so smoothly and effortlessly, it was so lovely to not have to worry about anything. The food was just incredible as well, we had the fusion feast and I’m going to have to convince some more friends to get married at South Farm so I can have it again as it was all so delicious. All our guests commented on how great the venue, the staff and the food were. Particular thank you to James who looked after us all day and made sure everything ran smoothly!

We had DJ Gary in the evening who kept everyone dancing all night, the dance floor was full from the first dance to midnight and we barely left the dance floor as the music was just so great!

Providing me with glasses of water, offers of a blanket  (I was chilled from time outside), checking regularly on my wellbeing, escorting me to my seat at the table and getting food for me. Thus I wanted to write and thank you all.

It was a great blessing to me to be able to be able to attend and share Leanne & Davids celebration which was made possible by your care and support. Keep up the good work

We would like to thank you for making our day more perfect than we could have even imagined it ever being. From start to finish all your staff were so attentive, nice and professional and kept the day flowing beautifully. Firstly, we just wanted to say thank you again. The day was really special, well-run and the food was delicious. All our guests had a lovely time and we’ve had comments that it was the best wedding people had been to (which is down to you guys!). It was our photographer’s first time at the venue and she also commented how well thought out everything is at South Farm. There was a small panic in the morning that we might not be able to get married outside but you were so accommodating and set everything up so quickly just in case the registrar said yes. And she did! First outdoor wedding in Cambridgeshire this year, lucky we had a fabulous Icelandic registrar!

The grounds were stunning, as were all the event rooms and the accommodation, everyone has said it’s slightly bittersweet that it was such an amazing day but we can’t come back and experience the food etc.

And the food! What can I say other than it was impeccable, the canapés were delicious and everyone loved the fact they could have multiple choices for dinner, and could go up again!

My coeliac Auntie was so excited that she even got to have a baguette in the evening.

Our bartender (I’m so sorry I never got his name, he had dark hair and was maybe 30?)

He was serving us at dinner as well. He was brilliant, incredibly friendly, even checked he was making drinks to peoples liking!

Everyone working during our day were incredible, the few I spoke to were extremely helpful and attentive.

I think I’m running out of adjectives to describe how wonderful you all are, but everyone has had something nice to say about South Farm and most of the comments have been all different things people noticed or experienced.

All I can say is I could never understand why people would want to renew their vows but after our day at South Farm I’m sure it’s something we will be back to do!

I had the great pleasure of coming to South Farm for the wedding of my daughter (Felicity) and her now husband, Joe.

The wedding was held on March 17th & I would like to ask you to please pass on my thanks to everybody involved on the day. Everything was amazing! I would like to highlight the food in particular. This was by far the best food I have ever had at a wedding. In fact, it was probably one of the best meals I’ve had anywhere! Many others have made the same comments to me. South Farm is a great venue for Jewish weddings. Every one of our guests commented on what an amazing stunning venue it is and how it’s so different to the normal (London hotels) venues of most Jewish weddings.

We always knew we wanted something different and we could not be happier that we found South Farm.

It really is distinctly unique. And a special venue and will forever be special to Stacey and I now.

And not just the scenery and animals and the barns – the people as well. Everyone of you!!

I just want to say a massive, huge thank you for our wedding with you. It was just incredible from start to finish and surpassed our expectations by far! I knew when we first visited the farm that it was the place for us. The relaxed, homely atmosphere (alongside the wonderful aesthetic)  made us instantly fall in love. I didn’t, however, realise just how perfect our day would end up being.

I want to give an individual thank you to Hayley, who is clearly very passionate about her job and was just absolutely incredible. Nothing was too much effort for her, she took complete control of the day and we didn’t need to worry about anything! Honestly, I can’t thank her enough. She’s an absolute asset to you ☺️

From the little touches of the girls touching up my train and telling me I looked beautiful to someone always making sure I had a drink! It was just perfection and easily goes down as one of the best days of our lives.

All of our guests have absolutely raved about the venue,  staff and the unbelievable food (I believe you had enquiries from some of them ????) and many are still talking about it now!

Thank you for giving us the best possible start to married life. I’m just so happy we chose you and so sad it’s all over!

The day was everything we had hoped for and more.

All our guests had a great time and they all commented on how beautiful the venue looked and how amazing the food was.

We have nothing but good feedback to give. It was so helpful having Hayley with us for the whole day, making the day run as smoothly as possible and allowing us to enjoy our special day. Also, having the wedding planning document with timings well in advance of the day helped us to understand how to day would work and so useful to share with the wedding party.  The food tasting was another particular highlight, allowing us to sample all the food on offer rather than having to choose blindly from the menu. Everyone at the event was extremely helpful and everyone was extremely accomodating when we asked about customising the starters. We are so grateful to everyone at South Farm for all the efforts on the day and leading up to it

We just wanted to say thank you very much for making our wedding day so special. We really did have the most magical day – everything was perfect – all of our guests said how amazing the service was and everyone loved the food .

To all of the bar staff, chefs, catering staff, background staff, gardeners, front of house, every single one of you involved on the day – you honestly gave us the best day ever!! We haven’t got one single thing to complain about, we are so so happy with everything. The service was spot on, the food was incredible (could eat it everyday), the grounds are so beautiful, SF is amazing, the whole day was the most relaxed and fun day we could have asked for! We didn’t have to ask for anything. You all went above and beyond and we are truly so grateful.
And finally DJ Gary, a massive thank you for your fab set – we danced the night away with our family and friends – everyone was happy with the music and enjoyed themselves! You played exactly what we wanted and we would highly recommend you!!

We really can’t thank the team at SF enough, we appreciate you all and the effort that went into our special day. We are now hoping some friends or family members might get married at SF so we can come again ????!! You guys are the best and deserve all of your awards!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I wanted to write an email to express our gratitude for helping organise and ensuring the best day of mine and Kirsty’s lives.

The day couldn’t have gone any better, the weather, the food, the venue. It was an utterly perfect day for us both and our families and I want to extend my gratitude to Hayley.

She was an absolute star and helped make sure the day went smoothly and was AMAZING. The chefs, the bar stuff, the house keepers, were all amazing and it is clear from every guest who commented on the amazing staff and venue.

I couldn’t recommend South Farm more highly and a good friend who attended said that they will be looking at available dates for their wedding. Thank you all for making our most special day, as perfect as we could have ever have hoped.

Dan and I would like to say a big thank you for making our day so special on Saturday.

A few highlights of what made it so special and it starts with the wonderful Summer. Summer has always been so attentive, helpful but also so friendly and happy for us that she was truly like a guest (in my eyes) than our event manager! And I mean that in a she just felt part of the party as we bonded, not that she acted like a guest haha ????

The bridal entrance was smooth, the confetti shot, the group photo! The transition to the wedding breakfast, speeches and lastly the sparkler shot! At no point in the day was I worrying about the timeline of the day and at no point was anything missing! The waiting staff and the staff servicing the bedrooms were the kindest and so helpful. The food was absolutely delicious, we received so many compliments about how tasty and well put together the dishes were! Breakfast was also yummy and whoever set the horse barn up for breakfast, it was super cute and such a nice touch!

The grounds of South Farm are simply beautiful and we are so happy that we got to have our wedding there! Thank you so so so much!

We just wanted to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you to the team at South Farm for the best wedding day we could have dreamed of on Monday 14th November 2022.

Firstly to the organisation team who always responded to our emails within a day. We felt reassured that the team knew what they were doing and had our best interests.

Thank you to the operation staff behind the scenes. The venue, bedrooms and gardens were so clean and beautifully maintained. It was lovely that everyone said hello during our visits and on the day. And the lovely chatty lady at breakfast who made sure no one went home hungry.

Thank you to the kitchen and front of house staff who produced wonderful food and drinks. So many guests commented on the taste and presentation. Also thank you for accommodating our dietary needs in an understanding way.

Finally a huge thank you to Hayley (whom everyone including my mother got confused with being me as we look alike and our mannerisms also similar, so I am told).

Hayley gave our first show round on the open day in January 2022. It was useful to walk around the venue and learn about the order of the day and the options available to us. Her warm and honest approach meant we booked literally the following day.

On the day of the wedding she was so calm and unflustered. Nothing was too much trouble. Many relatives commented on her professional approach and appreciative of her guidance throughout the day.

Our Yorkshire terrier Rosie was cared for like a princess, kept warm by the fire. Hayley even dried my toes with a hair dryer after walking across the damp grass for our photos.

We are forever grateful to Hayley, the rest of the team and all the recommended suppliers we used (Izzy Wild, DJ Gary, Julie Cambridge and Jon Spanyol).

We just wanted to send an email to thank you for making Friday the best day of our lives.

From the first ever meeting we had with Michelle, we knew that this venue was something special, and that this was where we wanted to get married.

Following on from that first meeting, the support we have had from Erica at our planning meeting, Emily for the administration (and helping me sort out the favours!) and an extra huge thank you to Helen for being the most amazing coordinator. She was so professional, yet warm and friendly – she made sure everything ran smoothly and kept us in check when we were running behind schedule which was hugely appreciated, as I seemed to lose all concept of time on the day!

The hospitality team did an amazing job in turning the rooms around so quickly, you run a very tight ship! The chefs food was incredible, and it was a pleasure to thank them personally the next morning. The grounds looked amazing, the gardeners and team that care for the animals are unsung heroes, as we wouldn’t have such beautiful photos without their hard work. All of our guests said that the waiters and waitresses were so helpful and prompt, and I have had so many messages saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The breakfast in the morning was very appreciated after a few drinks the day before, and I am grateful to have received some extra hash browns, and an extra sausage for Matt (although perhaps that was meant to be a secret!)

We’re completely aware that wedding season in 2022 has been manic for the industry, just looking at the calendar I can see how booked up you are, and I am in awe of the team’s energy and dedication – I’m not sure how you do it! You have probably lost count of how many weddings you have seen, but you still made us feel so special and unique, and we are so appreciative.

South Farm will always hold a special place in our heart, and we will be recommending you to all of our friends and family.

Just wanted to send a quick note, to thank every single member of staff that was helping at our wedding yesterday, you were all amazing, and should be so proud of how smoothly and amazing you guys were, with making sure everything went just amazing.

I would like to make a special mention of just how fantastic Emily was on the day. Took any potential stress away and made sure everyone was where they needed to be and did it all with a smile. We were both so impressed by her.

I felt I had to write to say a massive thank you to all of your team for making my daughters wedding truly special. The attention to detail was absolutely first rate and throughout the whole day nothing was too much trouble. Every member of the team seemed to have a single goal of making the day perfect which they did with a smile and level of enthusiasm that I rarely encounter in the modern day service industry. Everyone I encountered was kind patient and helpful and this really made our day.

I very rarely put pen to paper but the exemplary service provided by the whole team was very much worthy of a huge thank you from myself. I will not hesitate to recommend both the venue and the team to family and friends in the future.

Firstly, thank you so much for giving us the wedding day of our dreams, it was everything we’ve ever wanted and so much more. I cannot express just how amazing it was and we are so sad its over! From the show round with Phillip, to our planning meeting & menu tasting, to breakfast the morning after it was just perfect. Honestly if we could do it all again we’d be booking in a heartbeat!

All of our guests said it was the best wedding & venue they’ve ever attended. Everyone also said how amazing Michelle & the other staff were, and how everything ran so smoothly & efficiently, but yet so calm and relaxed. The food was outstanding, the service was impeccable, the surroundings were stunning, and DJ Gary & the hoof booth from your suppliers list were both absolutely perfect! And we got our outdoor ceremony, which was the icing on the cake.

From start to finish Michelle was exceptional, she really went above and beyond. She was kind, fun, professional, caring and considerate. We were both so so nervous and she really held us together, calmed us down, and was amazing with our 3 children, who absolutely loved her. Also during the meal my youngest knocked gravy all down my dress, Michelle jumped straight into action trying to save the dress and stop me from having a breakdown! She is just an amazing person inside & out, and such an asset to South Farm. Please pass on our gratitude and love to her. We cannot thank her enough.

There are not enough words that even begin to explain how over the moon we were to have our wedding day with you on 19/08/22. We were blown away by how seamlessly everything ran & how well cared for ourselves & our guests felt. I attended the wedding of Dominique and James yesterday and just wanted to say a huge thank you to yourself and your hard working staff!

The venue is beautiful, but it’s the attentive, hard-working staff and your team’s ability to cater to the ‘awkward’ guest like myself that really made it stand out to me.

Not once did anyone announce what foods I could or couldn’t eat, nobody made a big thing of naming me out loud to identify me; one quiet enquiry from myself about whether the sausages contained gluten and a dish of canapés appeared, suiting my requirements and the meal itself, not so different from everybody else’s that I obviously stood out – delicious.

After a day looking back at our wedding on Thursday (and recovering! ) we just wanted to say a huge thank you to EVERY member of your team.

From our first amazing virtual tour a year and a half ago to the morning after our big day every member of your team were just amazing! It’s really hard to put into words how unbelievable you all were/are. Everyone couldn’t do enough for myself and Dave and all of our guests. Everyone said how amazing not just the venue itself was but also the people who are part of the South Farm team.

There isn’t one thing we would change about anything, you went above any expectations we ever had. We felt so at home and relaxed about everything and that’s down to your superb team. What a family you all are.

We’d like to also personally thank Hayley who just went above and beyond in every way possible on our day. In a way that was just perfect for us, the little touches, the checking in, the looking after our family both the little ones and older ones! The passing us a drink whenever you thought we needed one…you just knew! It was like you’d known us for years! You are one amazing event manager but even more importantly to us it was your kind and caring nature towards us and our family and friends that just made our day the best day!

We’re just writing to thank you so much for making sure our wedding day was perfect. We absolutely loved it and kept hearing from guests that they loved it too. We felt very proud of South Farm, the staff and all the hard work that had gone into making it all happen.

In particular we wanted to mention the positivity of all of the staff we encountered. They couldn’t do enough for us and it came across that they really enjoyed working for South Farm and we just looked forward to hearing from them. It’s a lovely group of people you have working with you and we really enjoyed the whole process because of them.

The tasting session was a huge treat. It surpassed our expectations, and we couldn’t wait to get married after that! Amazing food, really lovely people, well organised. I think this is a real bonus when booking South Farm as you get a real taste of what your day will be like, which is comforting and exciting.

We also couldn’t quite believe the quality and taste of the food on our wedding day. Again, it went beyond what we had hoped and so many guests said it was the best food they had every had. Our uncles in particular are still raving about it at our family gatherings now! The quantity was perfect too, which was something my parents were a bit apprehensive about as my family have big appetites. Michelle completely put our minds at ease on that, so thank you for doing extra bowls of potatoes for us. We also realise now we needn’t have been worried at all about how pink the beef was :-) but she still let us request it to be cooked medium and we appreciate that.

The ceremony location itself was breath-taking. We both said the scenery was amazing (and beautifully kept) and we couldn’t have dreamed of it to be any better in terms of how we felt. We were just blown away with how beautiful and perfect it felt.

And we would like to thank Helen for being the perfect planner for the day. Friendly, organised, unflappable. Everyone really liked her, and she made us feel so well looked after. She asked just the right questions and made sure we had everything we needed. We can’t thank her enough for this. She did a great job of settling our nerves too.

Firstly thank you so much to you and the team (special shout out to Hayley for all her hard work on the day!) We have had nothing but compliments on how great the staff, venue and food were. You really did make our day fantastic and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I would like to take this opportunity to let you know it was an amazing day and the service, courtesy & professionalism of all the staff working on that day far exceeded my expectations.

South Farm was just perfect for us, such a relaxed feel at a stunning venue. The whole day was perfect. Of course we could of had slightly better weather so we were able to get married outside and we were hoping we would get some little piglets but these things didn’t stop us having the best day ever!

Special thanks to Hayley our event manager on the day, nothing was too much trouble and she made us feel as special as you should do on your wedding day. She was there to make sure we were happy every part of the day and she definitely did that 100%! All of our guests said how stunning the venue was and how amazing the food was!

Even some of our suppliers have mentioned to me how lovely you all are and how accommodating you were at helping them set up and directing them in the right place etc. I used to be a wedding planner myself so I know things like that go a long long way in this industry so thank you for that.

John and I want to thank you so much for ensuring that our celebrations on Tuesday were utterly fabulous!  We always thought we’d made the right choice of South Farm but the day itself proved how wonderful both the team and venue really are.

It seems unfair to mention only some people as we were so impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of everyone we spoke to throughout our protracted progress towards our special day but Hayley, our Event Manager needs a special mention:  she was an absolute joy and always seemed to be at hand to help without ever being intrusive and has an uncanny ability to read minds in that she knew what I wanted/would find helpful before I had even thought of it.

We’d also especially like to thank the chefs who delivered such a wonderful meal. Many of our friends made a point of saying that the canapes were probably the best they’d ever tasted.

We could go on – the grounds, serving staff, housekeeping, office staff, location, ambience, etc. etc. – all absolutely fantastic.

We will miss planning our South Farm celebrations and dealing with you all.  Hopefully, one of our friends will decide to get married at South Farm and we can enjoy it again.  In the meantime, John and I send huge thanks to you all and wish everyone our very best.

So many of our guests couldn’t tell us enough how gorgeous the place was and were so impressed – like we were – with your onsite kitchen team and dedication to growing and raising the produce you serve. We’re still getting people telling us how incredible the food was! Not a single complaint to be had and it all went down an absolute treat.

An extra special mention to Julie for being our coordinator on the day; an absolutely unflappable, consummate professional who knew all the answers to any questions we had before we asked them! From the little things like asking if we wanted a peek at the rooms after set up, to muscling her way into the evening buffet to make us up a plate of food and leave it in the bridal suite for us (the best idea EVER!), we had absolutely no worries the entire day, she was incredible.

And finally a big thank you to all the rest of the operational team who made everything run like a dream, from the kitchen team, to the F&B and bar staff. I’ve  worked in hospitality and customer facing roles since I was 16 and I have to say, your staff are some of the best. Even coming down to breakfast the next morning to see all the tables set up and decorated with our centerpieces and decorations was such a lovely surprising touch; so unexpected but just a lovely example of some of the things that make South Farm so special.

The only disappointment was the absolute audacity of your lovely pig to still be overdue and pregnant on the day – only for her to give birth the day after we believe? How rude, haha! Still can’t believe we missed out on piglet pictures!! But we won’t hold it against you :-)

What can I say about South Farm…

Throughout the planning process, South farm were ever so helpful, answered any questions we had very quickly and thoroughly. The food tasting was organised so well and as a bonus the food tasted AMAZING Our wedding was one of the first to be effected by the Pandemic with our original date being in May 2020. South Farm were so helpful and understanding as we were to them. They really helped us and reassured us everything was going to be ok. We postponed 5 times and every single time they were on the ball and very helpful.

Christine, Becky, Emily, Michelle, Hayley and Helen (and others!) thank you so so so much for making our dream wedding a reality. We are so grateful to you for all of your help and support. We hope we can come back and visit soon, South Farm was worth the wait

Matt and I just wanted to pop an email to say how absolutely incredible everything was yesterday. Helen was totally amazing. Very attentive and friendly. Every staff member made a day that was not as planned feel like the most special day ever and we wanted to thank everyone for that too.

We had a really lovely wedding reception at South Farm last Saturday. We initially decided upon this venue for its beautiful outdoor space and the number of guests it could welcome. Of course no one could foresee the Coronavirus situation, but we have been so impressed by South Farm’s response with their packages for smaller weddings. Even with a reception 1/6 of our intended size (and in the rain!) the space was used very well so that the reception still felt lively. The food was outstanding, the staff as welcoming as ever, and some of our friends could still stay over and enjoy a stroll around in the grounds with us in the morning.

Thanks South Farm for showing us that ‘good things come in small packages’!!!

As soon as we arrived at South Farm for the initial walk-round we knew it was the place for us, and by the time we left we had fallen in love with it and didn’t need to even look elsewhere.
The staff really are like one big family and every single one of them will do anything to help make your day as special as possible. They are organised, professional, enthusiastic, positive, attentive, efficient and experts in their own areas. They literally are the dream team and from start to finish they all make you feel like yours is the only wedding going on in the world!
The organic food is amazing and is mainly home-grown on-site at South Farm, you are always welcome to look around the smallholding, nothing is hidden away and everything is so well maintained and loved, it really shows. The animals are adorable and it is clear that their welfare comes above anything, which is hugely important to us.
The venue speaks for itself, it is just stunning, inside and out, whatever the season. A huge amount of hard work must go on behind the scenes in keeping everything looking so great but it all feels so natural with effortless countryside beauty.
To summarise, we cannot recommend South Farm highly enough, it’s literally our perfect venue and our wedding day was simply perfect, even in times like these, so thank you all.

We got married at South Farm in August and we can’t recommend them enough!
The venue is just so beautiful but it’s the team that makes this place special. Nothing is out of the question and they have a truly individual approach.
We loved this personable treatment as having viewed other venues and been to wedding fayres a lot of places felt very formulaic and we didn’t want a churned out, identikit ‘cookie cutter’ wedding, we wanted to get married somewhere that felt like ‘us’.
South Farms ‘Distinctly Different’ motto was perfect for us and we loved sharing ideas with the team about making our day just right for us, from the veggie menu we created, to the decor and the special drinks, everything was exactly how we wanted it.
Whilst this year has been really tough for wedding planning and the industry as a whole South Farm stayed calm and informed keeping us up to date on the changing government restrictions and were prepared and forward thinking with what they could offer throughout.
We had our wedding with 30 people and within all the government guidelines of the time but it was still our perfect big day and we’re so glad we went ahead.
Whilst the planning felt fun and easy, the day itself was also a breeze with South  Farms event planning team running the event like clockwork without you realising so that you can kick back and just enjoy! A big thank you to Michelle who kept everything running smoothly on our day! I didn’t even have chance to feel anxious or panic about anything as it felt like everything was sorted for me!

A slightly belated thank you for organising an excellent wedding for Emma & George last Saturday. We were very lucky with the weather, which presented South Farm in glorious winter sunshine, and we missed the wind and rain that lashed everywhere on the Sunday. All the guests commented on the choice of venue and the quality of the food. It all made for an excellent event with the vast majority of the guests staying to the bitter end.

Our organiser on the day was Emily and she was on top of all aspects. Her dialogue with me kept me fully up to date with everything and even when the speeches over ran their allotted time she was brilliant in getting the room re-organised so that we were soon back on target. All your staff were a credit to your organisation with exactly the right amount of attention to detail, whilst staying in the background and letting us enjoy the day with our guests.

Special mention to Helen our organiser on the day who made us both feel at ease, as well as making sure every detail was covered.

Communication with South Farm made me feel a little worried initially as you talk to so many different people in the team. But when we met Helen it became clear it wasn’t that no-one was specifically looking after us, it’s that every one of the team is looking after us and the level to which Helen knew what we wanted just showed that.

We got so many compliments on the food, every single contributor from their recommendations was spot on and all the staff were friendly. It was perfect.

Plus there are piglets!

The staff were amazing, from the beginning of planning to the execution on the day. Everything ran smoothly and was very organised, all details were covered making the process of planning as stress free as possible. The food was also wonderful, we had lots of comments from our guests saying how much they enjoyed it. The staff made us feel very special and catered to all of our needs. We got married at South Farm on the 11th August 2019. From the initial show round two years previous we knew this was our wedding venue. The run up to the wedding with the planning meeting and wedding planner document made it so easy to communicate everything we needed for our day, and on the day everything was in place just as we wanted. The whole day ran just as planned and our event manager Emily did an amazing job at making sure everything was alright all the way through.

To the South Farm team,

We just wanted to thank you for being the venue for our special day on the 11^th August 2019. The smiles on the bride and grooms faces show how much they enjoyed their big bad and that is what is important. Everything on the day was dealt with efficiently and promptly due to your hard work, planning and attention to detail. We know that delivering an experience like this requires so much hard work behind the scenes by an army of people, from the front of house, Chefs, Event Managers, kitchen potters and cleaners and those working in the early hours of the morning to clean and set tables. We want to thank each and every member of the South Farm team because we know it is a team effort. However we would like to single out one person for a special mention, our event manager Emily. She was outstanding and was always there making sure everything ran smoothly but never in the way. She was there to show us around South Farm two years ago when we were looking for venues and it was fitting that she was the event manager on our big day. Thank you Emily.

The venue is a magic, special and completely unique, you have to visit to completely understand it. We have had so many compliments from all our guests on how much they loved the venue, the food and they had such a great time!
The food is really exquisite, organic and local, and South Farm is very flexible to adapt to what you really want. The food, just like the service, couldn’t be better. We had some challenges with some guests´s diet requirements and as Spanish I wanted to have some Spanish food too. South Farm were more than happy to help us and follow some of the recipes I provided. My family complimented this, and were surprised it was really good!

I got married on 30th June 2019 and it was honestly the wedding of my dreams.

South farm went above and beyond and I honestly could not recommend them enough. We just wanted to take a minute from the craziness which has been our amazing wedding and then straight off to Florida to say the biggest thank you to everyone at South Farm and a really special thank you to Helen who was our Event Manager on Monday!

We have both said so many times that we had just a perfect day and we honestly couldn’t have asked for better! Helen was an absolute wedding angel, who was all over the place, sorting everything and everyone out and just being so calm and in control! It meant we both totally relaxed and had the most amazing day!

We feel like you guys thought of every last little thing, even down to tidying the bridal suite before we went in (because I’m pretty sure it was carnage in there when we left it ). And we were just amazed at how amazing the garland looked in the Tudor Barn so a big thank you to everyone who sorted that, it sounded like quite a team! But it looked way better than when we put it on the Summerhouse so thank you!! Every single member of staff that was around was friendly and super helpful!

I feel like this has been a rather long email and I still don’t feel like we’ve said thank you enough! But I will say thank you one last time for making the most important day of our lives absolutely perfect, it was because of everyone’s hard work that we have the most amazing memories! I know you do lots and lots of weddings but on Monday it really felt like ours was the only one that mattered, it was so obvious that everyone just wanted it to be perfect for us (again special mention to Helen here!) and we are so so grateful for that!

We had such a beautiful day – it exceeded both our expectations and so many of my friends and family commented on how relaxed they felt and how much they enjoyed it. It really was the most beautiful setting and we were so lucky with the weather.

Lots of people commented how great you were at keeping water on offer and refilling water jugs which they valued especially due to the hot weather and they commented on how good you were at the little details e.g. my friend had a tickly cough during the ceremony and someone handed her a glass of water which was exactly what she needed and was very grateful for.

When you all do this day in and day out it might be that occasionally someone could feel fatigued but we both felt like everyone there loved their jobs and treated everything with care and made it all feel so special.

I would wholeheartedly recommend South Farm to anyone and look forward to coming back to visit.

Attended a wedding here on Easter Monday. A fantastic venue, the day went without a hitch due to the fantastic organisation at the venue. Would recommend. The wedding breakfast was wonderful and catered for all dietary requirements. The gardens were lovely to wonder around during the day.

I’m also so happy Bea managed to get so many lovely photos of the little bits and pieces I made for the wedding! Maybe a bit pie in the sky at this moment, but going for it, and hope to launch in the next few months!

We had the perfect day at South Farm for our wedding. We had high expectations from when we first visited, and it surpassed even those. There was no job too small for the excellent team leading up to the day. Your organisation and responsiveness to our many questions and requests made our preparations so much easier.

On the day, our Event Manager, Jane, was extremely professional and fantastic at helping everything run smoothly. We were really impressed that every little detail was taken care of – from liaising with our florist and DJ to thoughtfully saving some canapés for the hungry Bride and Groom!

On the subject of food, the three course meal was a real highlight of the day. Many of our guests, completely unprompted, said that it was the best wedding food that they had ever eaten (and we agree!). Even the breakfast the next day for our overnight guests was delicious!

Literally THE best place to hold your wedding.

The venue is stunning and beautiful without having to do anything to it, it’s rustic charm brings something extra special to your day. The added bonus of all the animals just makes this venue so unique- we can’t wait to see our photos with the piglets!

All the staff at the venue are incredible, literally cannot do enough for you.

For our wedding they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and ran smoothly due to allergies and pregnancies- literally had nothing to worry about.

Everyone is so friendly and will help in any way you need them to, or will sit back and allow you to just get on with it.

Food was exquisite and all our guests complimented on how good it was.

First of all we just want to say thank you so much for everything you did for us on the run up to the wedding and on the day- you were all amazing!!

You all literally went above and beyond to help with our nut allergy making sure everything was nut free, accepting that you couldn’t serve certain alcohol, changing the food, checking the soaps and lotions, making sure your staff hadn’t eaten nuts- this was literally just amazing and I personally really can’t thank you enough for all of that, you made it so comfortable for me and my sister knowing that she was safe and could just enjoy herself, so thank you.

Thank you for allowing us to do something new that you’d never done before with the shot table when everyone walked in, the way you worked with me to make this how we wanted was just brilliant, it was exactly how we wanted, and thank you to the staff for setting that up, it was perfect!

Helga we wanted to thank you for making our day amazing- you were fantastic on the day!! We literally had to worry about nothing with you running our day, you made it all seam free and problem free. You made sure we always had what we needed, honestly you made the day perfect, so thank you so much.

We had the best day and morning after, so thank you all very much, we absolutely loved our wedding day and was so sad when it was over- we wanted to do it all again!

We couldn’t recommend you enough to other people and I know everyone that came to our wedding said how stunning the venue was.
