South Farm is a successful and unique wedding venue located in beautiful rural surroundings in South West Cambridgeshire. The business is a well-established family run enterprise managed by James and Philip Paxman and Christine Lyon. We are the largest wedding business in Cambridgeshire with a good forward order book and are therefore lucky enough to be able to offer secure jobs.

We have an exceptionally busy season ahead of us and we have a number of key positions available! If you would like to be part of our friendly professional team and make a difference to someone’s special day then we would love to hear from you!
We provide a bespoke and flexible service to our couples, incorporating wedding menus using seasonal produce from our eight acre small holding, eggs from our chickens and pork from our kune kune pigs – all created on site by our in-house catering team. Our appeal is the idyllic country setting, superlative home grown food and fantastic planning and front of house service delivered in a friendly and professional way.
As we are a rural venue, your own transport is essential as there are no public services.
Casual Bar Staff

Casual Overnight Cleaning Staff
Flexible shifts available to self-motivated people working as part of a small team to get the venue ready for the wedding the next day. We are offering a starting rate of between £11 and £12 per hour depending on age and experience with a salary increase after 3 months or 200 hours, whichever is soonest. Seasonal Breakfast Chef
As a Breakfast Chef you’ll be cooking an important meal for our Couples after their wedding day in a professional kitchen and you must be capable working as a part of team, as well as working independently when required, to the required Quality and Food Safety standard.
Own transportation is a must as we are located in a rural area with no public transportation options.
07.45/ 08:00am -10.30/ 11.00am (regular shift) 5x days per week on days after we have weddings (we have up to 6 weddings a week in our busy season)!
Take advantage of a schedule that guarantees two days off each week. The work rota is written in advance on a four-weekly basis.
Fixed contract of four months to take us through our busy season.
