Set in twenty acres of stunning countryside our same sex wedding venue is bursting with unique charm. There are so many stunning spaces for wedding photos – it’s a uniquely beautiful backdrop and the perfect recipe for the same sex wedding of your dreams!
sweet dreams
Sleep in sweet slumber in our guest accommodation exclusively reserved for you and your wedding guests. There’s a luxury suite for the newly-weds, a choice of boutique-style guest bedrooms, a colourful collection of charming Romany Wagons. Plus the option for adventurous guests to camp in our countryside paddocks if they wish!

Our experienced team will guide your through all the details, be on hand to answer any questions. and help you co-ordinate the most perfect day you could possibly dream of. With the option to hold a civil ceremony indoors or out we’ve the perfect setting for your wedding vows, whatever the season! Our pretty farmhouse, converted barns and stunning gardens offer a perfect mix of quirky yet elegant charm and our versatile reception spaces suit weddings large and small.
Homegrown Food
The organic produce from our smallholding is homegrown, hand picked and lovingly prepared for use in our mouth-watering wedding menus – all freshly cooked and expertly served. We’re so proud of our field to fork ethos and when you sample our food we think you’ll see why! Our countryside farm wedding venue supplies almost all the fruit, vegetables and herbs used in our seasonal menus.
Something Unique
Something extra-special? At South Farm you are spoilt for choice. As well as our meticulously tended formal gardens we have a stunning tapestry of wildflower meadows, charming courtyards, organic orchards and pretty ponds, all creating a diverse natural habitat and the most beautiful wedding day backdrop! The icing on the cake is our rare-breed animals who happily reside in our paddocks and barnyard and, yes – you can have pictures with the piglets at our LGBTQ+ wedding venue!

Wedding ceremonies we offer
Bursting with romantic charm, whatever the season, our farm wedding venue is the most magical setting for your same sex wedding. Take your pick from our five ceremony options for the perfect setting to say ‘I do’. With choices for smaller ceremonies at our small intimate wedding venue, larger celebrations, and everything in between, our civil ceremony spaces, inside and out, are all uniquely beautiful and ready for you to fall in love with!
Choose The Drawing Room for an intimate ceremony for up to 35 guests, The grand Tudor Barn with stunning Elm beams and twinkling fairy lights for up to 180 or cosy up for a ceremony in The Horse Barn for 65 guests. The Garden Summerhouse offers a stunning outdoor ceremony setting between March and October or choose the rustic Old Dairy with views over the paddocks for up to 100.
Whichever you choose, at our same sex wedding venue you will celebrate your marriage in total privacy with your loved ones.
