South Farm Summer Fiesta – A Huge Thank You!

A very big thank you to everyone who joined us for our Charity Fundraising Event – South Farm Summer Fiesta – on Sunday 4th June. The event was a great success, enjoyed by all and we are overwhelmed by the generous support of our guests, suppliers, friends and local businesses.

We are thrilled to announce that we have raised over £15,900 for The British Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal – a fantastic achievement! We couldn’t have done this without each and every one of you who took the time to join us, donate and support us in so many different ways.

Thank you to the amazing, talented musicians and entertainers who gave up their time to wow our guests with fantastic musical performances and entertainment throughout the afternoon.

Our beautiful wedding venue, barns and gardens were expertly styled with colourful decorations by Fleur de Lace & Miss Carlysle & Co – a big thank you to the creative team who made South Farm look extra pretty!

The sun shone all day and our guests had a wonderful time relaxing in our rustic barns and pretty gardens and enjoyed delicious drinks, ice-cream and amazing food created by our clever chefs.

Special thanks to DJ Mike Readings who compered the event for us and played a fantastic DJ set on the main event stage during the afternoon and to our favourite Master of Ceremonies, Chris Jennings, who expertly greeted all our guests. We were thrilled Rosie Gutteridge, Patron of The British Red Cross Cambridgeshire, was able to join us and say a few words about the great work that The British Red Cross are doing in Ukraine.

We’d also like to thank our very own South Farm team, headed up by our General Manager Becky, who masterminded the event. Our team loved planning the event and looking after all our guests on the day including golf buggy tours around the farm, piglet and sheep feeding in the paddocks plus a successful silent auction and raffle held in the Old Dairy.

Thank you to all our friends, suppliers and local businesses who donated amazing prizes and their time and helped us make the event such a fantastic success, including Absolute AV who lent us the main event stage and DJ Gary, Titan Roadshow for his brilliant Pop Quiz!
