Alison Reed Fine Cakes

Alison Reed Fine Cakes offers a wide range of sweet treats to help make your big day extra special – from small gifts and favours to large bespoke wedding cakes and show-stopping dessert tables! All of Alison’s creations are made using the finest ingredients, including free-range eggs, organic flour and Belgian chocolate.

Alison has a diverse wedding cake portfolio which includes semi-naked cakes laden with fresh fruits/flowers, tiered iced cakes decorated with delicate sugar flowers, macaron and cupcake towers, temari cakes, and chocolate wedding cakes with handmade chocolate roses. Alison has also had some fun commissions such as the Eiffel tower (where the groom proposed) and two large ‘bride and groom’ cats crafted out of cake! She even made her own cake (actually a tower of cakes) for her wedding at South Farm last year.

Alison has bases in both Cambridge and Saffron Walden and would love to meet with you to help design your dream cake. She can cater for a range of budgets and dietary requirements and offers every couple a tasting session to make sure their creation tastes even better than it looks!

How to Order

If you would like a quote for a cake, please get in touch using our online form. Please provide as much information as possible in your enquiry so that we can give you an accurate quote and our availability. This could include the date of the wedding, number of portions you require, style of design and any photos of cakes that inspire you, and the location of the venue if you require delivery.

As a guide, our two tier wedding cakes start from £300, and three tier cakes from £350. The final cost will depend largely on the level of decoration and intricacy of the design, so please get in touch and we can give you an accurate quote. If you decide to go ahead and book, we will require a deposit of £100 to secure the booking.

​We can also cater for a range of dietary requirements, including vegan and dairy/gluten free diets.
