I love shooting at South Farm, as both the team and venue are exceptional. I shoot there roughly a dozen times each year, and know the venue like the back of my hand. I know how the light falls in every month of the year, and how to optimise it for the best possible bride & groom portraits.
I place a huge importance on relationships with everyone at the wedding, from the couple, their friends and families to the venue staff. Having fun with everyone enables me to get close to the action and capture those ‘fly on the wall’ moments.
Whilst I employ a very documentary approach to most of the day, I always make time to capture some stunning images of the bride and groom in their surroundings, and always make sure we get those family group shots for Mum & Dad too.
I love to shoot late into the party, and have mastered the use of flash creatively, thus enabling me to shoot weddings at all times of the year. I also actively like to assist with Day Plans and offering advice to couples during their planning phase, based on my own experiences at almost 400 weddings, of which 50 have been at South Farm!
