Firstly you will be invited for a “meet and greet” visit with us, at our home, where we discuss all the options open to you. At this point we can arrange further meet and greets if your dog is nervous and needs a little more settling in time.
Walkies at Weddings offers three different packages for your dogs, Gold, Silver and Bronze:
The Gold Package consists of your dog being dropped off at our house the day before the wedding, dogs are then settled in, played with and walked and then stay that night. The day of the wedding, they are walked again then we transport them to the venue at the required time for a few photos. When we are no longer required we take your pet back to our house where they stay the wedding night. Collection is arranged for the morning after.
The Silver Package consists of either us picking up your dog early on the wedding morning, or have the pet dropped off by the groom or a member of the bridal party. Dogs are walked and played and then we take them to the venue for photos and then bring them back to our house where they board the wedding night. Collection is arranged for the following morning.
The Bronze Package is different, because there is no boarding involved. So we collect the dog from the required location, take your dog to the wedding, and then drop the dog back to the required location at whatever time suits.
We have an extensive range of bow ties and sparkly collars that your dogs can wear, which is included in the price!
Walkies at Weddings started in 2016 with just a couple of weddings, and then it grew in 2017. The brides and grooms are so happy that there is somebody to look after their dog, who is a professional and has experience with looking after dogs. We find that couples are really excited at the thought of having that “once in a lifetime picture” with their dog.
