A big thank you to all those who joined us for our Open House Event on Tuesday 11th July! We were thrilled to welcome our visitors – we really enjoyed meeting you all and hearing all about your exciting wedding plans!
Thank you so much to our suppliers who joined us on the day too. Miss Carlysle & Co added gorgeous decorative touches to the Tudor Barn, Old Dairy and Garden Ceremony area with pretty chair drapes, colourful candles and stylish accessories. Stables Prop Hire staged a stunning, colourful ceiling lantern installation in the Tudor Barn and Sarah Maylin Flowers created beautiful florals which looked amazing in The Tudor Barn, Old Dairy and Garden Summerhouse. Thanks to our amazing on the day styling team for making all our venue spaces look extra special!
DJ Gary was live in the Horse Barn with his DJ set up and state of the art lights and kept us all entertained with his fabulous sounds. The talented Mickey Fordola entertained our guests with his stunning swing music in the garden and Blooper Photobooths added a touch of fun entertainment in The Tudor Barn with their stylish photobooth.
We were also thrilled to welcome Cat from Cat Lane Weddings who captured the day perfectly and talked weddings and wedding day photography with our guests as they wandered around our award-winning barn venue, farm and gardens!
Guests were treated to home-made ice cream and petits fours and our visitors were able to see all our venue spaces set up and check out our unique working farm and charming guest accommodation at their leisure. Our garden team showcased a display of some of our home-grown produce in The Tudor Barn and our guests were able to wander through our Herb and Kitchen Garden and see where we grow just some of the fruit, vegetables and herbs used in our seasonal wedding menus.
Of course, on the day our gorgeous piglets stole the show! Guests loved seeing them playing in the barnyard while our sheep grazed peacefully in the paddocks.
We were lucky that the weather stayed dry right up until the end of the evening and it was so lovely to meet all our visiting couples. We hope you all enjoyed the day as much as we did. We loved showing you around our countryside wedding venue!
