Do you love delicious food? Would you like to treat your guests to the best possible wedding food that they won’t stop talking about for months to come?!

At our farm wedding venue in Hertfordshire, many of the ingredients we use in our kitchen are home-grown in our very own small-holding, meaning your wedding menus will not only be delicious but also seasonal, fresh and sustainable!

We have a field to fork ethos here at South Farm. We organically grow hundreds of different varieties of fruit, veggies and herbs on-site which means the freshest seasonal produce is picked daily by our garden team and hand-delivered to our catering kitchen to be prepared and cooked for your wedding breakfast! What isn’t cooked fresh from the garden is preserved for our delicious sauces, compotes and chutneys.

So, if you’re looking for a green wedding venue that really pulls out all the stops when it comes to catering for your wedding day you’re in the right place at South Farm. We’re so proud of our wedding food and our team of talented chefs who create all the delicious dishes in our seasonal menus.

Our range of menus is huge but we don’t just stop there, if you have your heart set on a particular dish or family recipe that we don’t offer as standard just let us know – we will work with you to create your dream wedding menu!

All couples booking a bespoke wedding with us are invited to one of our Menu Tasting Evening – a fantastic opportunity to sample a wide range of our wedding menus and try some of our wines too. We are really ambitious with the choice of food we offer on the evening and we will ensure your dietary requirements are catered for on the evening and of course for wedding guests on your big day too!

Menu options include fully plant-based wedding menus, vegetarian wedding menus and we have also catered for an extensive range of cultural wedding menus including Moroccan, Asian, Afghan, African, European Halal, Kosher- friendly and Masorti. Choose from a three course wedding breakfast or a more relaxed hot-buffet, lamb or hog roast, a fusion feast served grazing style on lazy susans or a classic BBQ.  Our menu range doesn’t stop there. There is food for every part of the day you could possibly wish for – delicious nibbles, canapes and ice-cream during drinks reception, home-made sweet treats to be served with after-dinner tea and coffee and a wide range of evening food including our creative street food menus – think Noodle Bar, American Diner and Kebab Bar!
